DABI'S POV.
"Just leave Dabi."
He looked at me with such expressionless eyes. I knew that I fucked up somehow but I didn't know how bad or what I did. Looking in his eyes I could see that he was done, completely done with me, my choices and everything or anything about me. He did't even yell, when he was speaking to me. I don't even know what I did.
"What did I do?" I whisper hoarsely
"Leave Dabi, just leave." He said voice breaking "I can't, I can't right now, okay." He was crying by the end of it. I move towards him but, he backs up against the the door, eyes still on me.
"Don't leave.Don't Leave!" I plead "I, I'll fix , tell me what i did wrong and I'll fix it I promise. Just please don't leave me."
I'm desperate and scared now. So so scared. I'd do anything to make him willingly stay and be happy. Hell I'd bring someone back from the dead if thats what it took. Sadly smiling with tears streaming down his face he opens the door still looking at me
"I'm sorry, baby." He mouths to me rushing out the door leaving me in the room alone.
"No, please don't leave." I'm still quietly pleading but with fate now. I fall to my hands and knees, small blue flames falling down my face. I open my hand to catch one. Since i can't cry per say I "cry" fire, my fire. Thats probably why he left me. I am a monster. Quiet footsteps stop behind me
"Fuyumi" I sigh "you, knew didn't you."
"Oh Touya it's going to be okay, I'm here, come get a hug." She says in her soft voice hugging me from behind. She holds me close and I inhale her scent as a beta it sort of helps to calm me. Since betas have netural scents
"I don't know what I'm going to do. He was one of the few good things i had left." I tell her
"Lets just get you cleaned up and some food in your belly, okay."
"I'm not a child ut, you have always been like a mother to me." I say attempting to change the subject.
"Haha, well this mama bear is gonna help you thru your first serious breakup."
I stand up and help her to her feet and together we walk to the kitchen.
Authors note
First: the rest of the todoroki family was gone for the entire day so they didn't k ow that Dabi was there.
Second: betas do have scents but since they are in the middle of the heiarchy their scent can't really be dominant or submissive unless they really try hard to make it that way. So when dabi says that it helps its because the scent doesn't demand him to anything.
