Sage staying over Bane's house for a while, a few weeks, only sneaking back into his house to get pants because Bane's is to small for him, and plus their styles are completely different. The two boys chilling in the living room, Sage playing on the couch with his legs on Banes lap, Mrs. Verlice takes in a deep breathe before sitting on a silk covered couch across from them. "Sage, Honey, you have been staying here so a long while...I don't mind..your very respectful of the house rules and what I ask of you, you can stay as long as you want...but if you don't mind me asking...why don't you go home..?" Hearing this sudden and personal question the boys quickly turn and look at each other, before Sage looks away onto his phone while speaking to avoid any eye contact. Despite being the outgoing kid he's known to be, he cant look someone in the eye while talking about his personal life. "Well...you see, its not the best over there....growing up wasn't to bad, my father has always been an alcoholic and was actually abusive towards my mom but never towards me...Until she took her own life. Since then that abuse had turned to me, ten times worse, but it has been many years with that going on and I feel like I've gotten...use to it really....but growing up id leave the house just to stay away from him, which lead me hanging and talking to the wrong people, getting a cigarette addiction i just cant quit. So I guess that's what I'm doing...staying out the house but...in a safe place." While listening to him speak both Bane and his mother hold soft expressions on their faces, Aurora gets up from her seat, and walks over to him, hearing her footsteps approach he places his phone down on his chest and looks up at her. Leaning down, raising her hand to the boy's head causes him to squeeze his eyes shut and tense up, seeing this she lets out a soft sigh before softly putting her hand on his forehead, pushing his hair curly hair back, out of his face to leave a soft kiss on his head. Speaking in a soft, low tone to not startle the boy, "stay here for as long as you want, im sure Bane doesn't mind, I'm sure i don't..and I promise my husband wont hurt you ever again okay?" Sage nods, finally opening his eyes as she walks away out of sight. Bane places his hand on top of his chest "That was the cutest thinnngg aaahhhhhh, my boyfriend and my mother having a little momennntttt." Sage just rolls his eyes but a big smile is seen on his face. "But for real, what he said was true, you can stay here for as long as you want, shit I'd even let you move into my room. I mean you kinda did, your clothes and pants in my closet, but i can be your safe place, you outlet for whenever goes wrong....I love you..." Hearing those three last words come out of his mouth he looks at the boy with wide eyes, what he had said sounded so meaningful, so sincere, like he had actually meant it wholeheartedly. "I can't believe I'ma fucking say this out loud, but I fucking love you to you fucking loser." Bane starts to go red, smiling like an idiot, the way his eyes slightly close as the way his lips curve on his face, "That was adorable, even with the insults!" Jumping up to his feet he runs to his parents room. Staying there for a few minutes, by himself, he is just laying looking on his phone till Bane suddenly appears, leaving over the couch. "I told her you love meeeeee." "of course you fucking did." Bane ruffles Sage's hair as he chuckles walking around and sits in the couch. "Love, I need to tell you something." Hearing this Sage puts his phone down and sits up, crossing his legs on the couch. "Soooo, I kinda, sorta, went through your phone and found something I did wanna see.." Sage then lifts an eyebrow, looking over at his phone he had placed on the coffee table, then back at his lover "Which was?" "why didn't you tell me. I feel like this is something i should have known a long time ago." "I'ma need you to tell me what you found in order to explain what you want me to explain Bane. What did you find on my phone exactly that I have seemed not to tell you." Bane starts to look irritated which starts to make Sage worry, he isn't hiding anything, he doesn't remember hiding anything from Bane that he should know... and a long time ago? What does he mean by that? Like, his age..? His. Age. The lights suddenly go out and Aurora is seen walking over to the boy with a cake with just a few candles on it, a smile plastered on her face while placing it on the coffee table. Watching the flames from the candles light everyone's face, Sage looks over at Mrs. Verlice, then over at Bane who is seen with his phone out. "Happy Birthday Sage."
