Are We Too Young For This?

Hearing this, the boy goes cold as stone, frozen in place not knowing what to do, he knew he shouldn't have gotten to comfortable with the Verlice family. What is he gonna do now, Sage's positive energy and smile fading from his face, putting his face in his hands and letting out a stressful sigh. The boy and his mother look at each other, feeling bad that Mr. Verlice has to come home early to ruin Sage's wonderful day, a day were he smiled a lot, a day where he was happy, a day where he had no worried till now. The last time they saw each other was when he had put Sage in a stretcher, but Sage isn't scared that he'll hurt him, he's scared that the moment his eyes meet his he's gonna want to take his teeth out. Sage suddenly lifts his head with a huge smile on his face. "Welp! Let's go! I'm sorry but your going to have to hold the bags for me okay baby?" Grabbing the seats to pull himself up and kisses Bane on the cheek before getting out of the car. Bane's face goes red at an instant and takes no time to get out with him, "O-Okay!" Aurora just looks kind of worried but doesn't say a word as they enter the building and the elevator, the three of them stand in silence, Mrs. Verlice just worried on what may go down, and Bane fighting demons in the corner trying to hold the bags. Sage is just standing with his arms crossed as the double doors of the elevator slide open, letting Aurora exit first, he follows close behind her, Bane follows too but he's a little farther behind.  Mrs. Verlice looking over at Sage but doesn't say a thing before opening the door and walking in. "Hey Honey, your home early." She holds the door open and the next to enter is Sage walking in with a smirk as his eyes meet Mr. Verlice "Did you miss me?" The man rises to his feet from the couch so fast, stepping up to the kid as Bane walks through, dropping the bags on the floor, "Get the fuck. Out. Of. My. House." Looking down at him Sage just smiles before looking at his lover, then back at his father. "Y'know....it's my birthday today...I turn seventeen. Is this your present to me? Reasons to kick your ass?" This remark causes the man to be sent into a rage, grabbing Sage by the collar he pulls him, Sage wastes no time to grab Mr. Verlice by the wrist, sweeping his leg out from under him causing his body to fall with a huge thud. Standing over him, the man let's go of Sage in an attempt to catch himself, At the sound Aurora covers he mouth before yelling "ENOUGH!" The boy hears this, he starts to softly whisper to her husband "I'm not going anywhere, I don't hate you, but you have given me a reason to. What? Because your fragile religious beliefs? Well guess what, I'm not even religious, asshole, so get off my dick and leave me alone. Wait...your son was on it." Sage give the man a sly smirk before pulling his arm back, he sees the anger building up in his face, the man going red, opening his mouth to say something before Sage shoots his fist at him, his knuckles colliding with the man's cheek. Sage hitting him with such force, the man loses consciousness, letting out a heavy sigh the boy stands up straight, "That was....short lived." Mrs. Verlice and Bane just staring at him. "I'm sorry that whenever we are around each other it has to be so negative, but I'm not going to let him get away with what he had done, I'm not going to let him push his beliefs on me and I'm not going to let a grown ass man place his hands on me either. It was either me, or my father, my father would have chosen death." Mrs. Verlice and her son look at each other in silence as Sage drags the man's body toward the couch, picking him up and harshly laying him down before going to grab some of the shopping bags to bring to Bane's room. Bane grabbing the remaining bags and meeting his partner soon after to see him laying on his bed, holding his knuckles. "Yeah, look at you, your hand hurts huh." "Nothing I haven't dealt with before." Bane just nods his head in response as he kicks  his shoes off, climbing into bed with his lover, he curls up next to him.  "Love....thank you...so much for one of the best days of my life, something I'll forever remember and cherish..I hope to have many more like this, with you." Listening to his words Bane get all red, smiling like an idiot he cups Sage's face "AWW YOUR SO ADORABLE WHEN YOU ARN'T VIOLEEENNT." Bane leans up and kisses Sage all over his face, and he just takes it, not a single complaint, not a single peep. He is actually seen smiling.
