It was chilly outside,so I clutched my sweatshirt closer to my body, hoping it might somehow warm me up.

Quiet whispers and the echoes of my sneakers were the only sounds on the mostly deserted streets I was walking down.

A car came down the street behind me,it's headlights casting a yellow glare on the grey buildings up ahead.

I payed no attention to what was behind me,until an arm wrapped around my waist and a hand covered my mouth.

I was dragged into an alley, where my attacker looked into my frightened eyes.

The familiar blue-grey irises darted around my face, before the boy from earlier kissed my cheek gently.

He kept his head in the crook of my neck as I struggled.

His body kept me from moving my legs or arms, and he was much too tall for me to knee him in a place where it would hurt.

He took deep breaths and kissed my neck with cold lips, which made me shudder.

"Mine, finally mine." He whispered to no one in particular.

"I'm not going to hurt you," He said and I felt something wrap around my wrists.

Duck tape bound my wrists together, and then covered my mouth.

I was paralyzed with fear, and besides, nothing would come out of screaming, not at this time, when there were dumb drunks all over.

We went to his car,and I started to cry and shake as I was put into the passengers seat, the seatbelt clipped across me so I couldn't escape.

He climbed into the drivers seat, sending me a smile. I returned his warm act with a glare and a loud sob.

"Everything's alright, darling. We're going home, where you belong." The man stoked my cheek, wiping away my tears, and then started the car.

He started down the street.

We left the part of town that I lived in, and entered a dirtier part.

Where are we going?

He turned onto the freeway.

"You're very beautiful,I hate having to do this to you." He told me. I looked down at my lap and squirmed, desperate for my freedom from this strange man.

"Aspen, what an amazing name. Aspen Rose Carlyle,so beautiful." I looked up. How did he know my name?

"Don't look so surprised. I know everything about you, darling."

I glared at him. I didn't want him to give me nicknames. He's a creep.

"I've been waiting to have you forever,Aspen. We're meant for each other, you know."

No,I didn't know, you psychotic bastard!

He laughed at the look of anger that crossed my face.

"I'd take the duck tape off,but you're too smart to trust under these circumstances. Maybe when we get home."

Something had consumed me when I saw her crying in that restaurant booth.

I felt a need to hug her, comfort her, kiss her. Make her feel better about the outcome of a crime that I had committed.

I knew that there was no other way for me to do that without taking her.

Now I was here, in my car, with a beautiful young girl bound in the seat next to me.

And I was more than happy about it.

Aspen stared out the window, her eyes following the trees on the side of the freeway.

"Are you angry?" I questioned. She looked up at me, a strong glare giving me my answer.

"I understand, but I think you should look at this from a positive angle. Now we can be together forever, Aspen."

She returned her eyes to the window.

With a heavy sigh, I continued driving.

I had been driving for hours, headed to my second home, up in the mountains. I knew that no one could find us there.

Aspen had been sleeping for a few hours, her head resting on the cold window. She looked beautiful, with her lips slightly parted, her chest rising up and down at a steady pace.

I knew that she didn't trust me, that she was afraid of my intentions with her. All I wanted was to bring her to a home where she was loved more than any other material object in the world.

I knew that her father didn't provide that environment for her, and that's why I had shoot him. I was only sixteen, but I knew that it was better for her.

And besides, he's only paralyzed, not dead. That narcassitic bastard deserved to die, but I guess that was a job I needed to finish.

I would do anything to protect my beautiful, precious Aspen. I would murder anyone or anything that stood between us.

I knew that eventually she would feel the same way.

I awoke to the sudden pain of ducktape being torn off of my lips.

Immediately, I started to scream for help, hoping that someone could save me.

The man in front of me just raised one of his eyebrows and patiently waited for me to run out of breath.

"Are you done?" He questioned.

"Where am I?"

"At home," He said, as though it was the most blatantly obivious thing to exist.

I looke around, expecting to see my messy bedroom. Instead, I was in a bedroom that was a little smaller, with brown walls and soft, comforting decorative items.

"This is not my home!" I seethed. He laughed and sat down next to me on the bed which I was bound to.

"It is now, darling."

"Don't ever call me that!"

I struggled against the handcuff attached to the bed, rubbing my right wrist raw from the friction.

"Stop," He placed his hand on my own, "I don't want you to hurt yourself."

I stopped, shaking from anger and fear. He looked worried.

"Are you alright?"

"No," I answered honestly, "I want to go back to my house."

He gave me a defeated look and stood up.

"I'll bring you some food soon. Don't try to leave me."

He then left the bedroom, slamming the door behind him.
