"S-Sorry po, sir. Wala na po kaming size nitong gusto niyong shoes." The shop assistant said in a worried tone.

I looked at the Dolce & Gabbana shoes that I wanted to buy while pouting my lips. "B-but, I really want that. I'm willing to pay no matter how much as long as I have those shoes." I'm trying to persuade the sales assistant with my soft voice.

A guy with a deep voice intrudes. "I think this one suits you better,"

Tumingin ako kung saan nanggaling ang boses at natulala nung makita ko si Aaron. He's wearing a black polo shirt, which matches his white skin. I smiled when I notice that he's holding Chunky Low-Top sneakers.

Napahawak ako sa gilid ng bean bag chair kung saan ako nakaupo nung lumakad siya harap ko. He bended his knee and carefully held the calf of my left leg before he put the shoe on my feet that he was holding. My heart was beating so fast, his touch made me shiver.

He centered his eyes on me after he put the shoe on my feet. "I told you, it would be perfect for you."

Tumango naman ako at binaling ang tingin sa kawalan. "Y-yup, thank you."

"Sir, bagay po kayo- este... bagay po sa inyo yung sapatos. Are you going to buy that pair instead?" Mapang-asar na tanong ng sales lady.

"Yes, I'll buy this." I mumbled while looking at the shoe that I'm wearing.

Lumabas din ako agad ng shop pagkatapos mabili ang sapatos para hanapin si Mang Noel. Napansin kong sumusunod sa 'kin si Aaron pero hindi ko na siya pinansin. My eyes sparkled in awe when I saw an ice cream shop.

"You want to eat ice cream with me, Z-zein? Aaron whispered.

Lumingon naman ako sa kanya nung marinig ko ang aking pangalan. "Y-you know me?"

He caressed his nape while biting his lower lip. "You're the cutest student in our school. That's why everyone knows you."

I instantly felt shy after hearing that. A lot of my classmates and even my friends said the same thing, but hearing that coming out of Aaron's lips makes me feel butterflies in my stomach. I noticed that he was trying to avoid my gaze, which made me walk closer to him.

"Are you okay? You look sick like Gellian." I anxiously asked while feeling his forehead with my palm.

Hinawakan niya ang kamay ko mula sa noo niya. "O-okay lang, Zein. I really want to ask you for a date-"

Hindi ko narinig ang huli niyang sinabi nung tumunog ang phone ko. Agad naman akong lumayo sa kanya nung makitang si Gellian ang tumatawag. I didn't hesitate to answer his call.

"What's up, Gellian?" I casually asked.

I heard him sigh on the other line. "Nasaan ka?"

Napalunok ako nung marinig ko ang malalim niyang boses. Being with Gellian for so many years, I could easily determine if he was fine or in a bad mood. He's now a hundred percent mad at the tone of his voice.

"Uhmm... I'm h-here at the mall." I started to stutter.
