"I don't see anything wrong with my son loving the same gender as he is. If you want to stop supporting my son with his showbiz career, then kindly do so." Uncle Allen proudly said it on the microphone.

Tumaas ng kamay ang isang babaeng reporter at nagsalita matapos siyang sensayasan. "This next question is for Mr. Gellian. May I ask why your lover is not here with you in the press conference and why you didn't answer his marriage proposal?"

Hawak ko ang remote ng telebisyon at hindi humuhupa ang aking kaba. Katabi ko sila Mommy at maging sila ay tutok din sa panunuod ng live presscon. Napalunok ako nung ngumisi si Gellian.

"Well, my baby is quite shy in front of the camera, so he's not with me today, but he will surely... be with me tonight." Gellian said in a playful tone.

Naghiyawan ang mga reporters sa kilig at maging sila Nanny Fe nakakalolo akong tinitigan. My mom kept her mouth shut while my dad cleared his throat before shaking his head. I just covered my face from the sudden embarrassment.

Gellian asked everyone to be quiet and then continued what he was saying. "And about my answer to my baby's marriage proposal. I'd prefer to just keep it between us, but we'll send you an invitation if it's finally happening. I mean, the wedding."

All of the media casts gasped in awe. Hindi ko alam kung saan kinukuha ni Gellian ang lakas ng loob para sabihin iyon samantalang ako'y para gusto ng kainin ng lupa. Halo-halo ang aking nararamdaman pero nananaig sa akin ang saya.

A male reporter raised his hand and uttered a word after he was allowed to. "This last question is for Gellian. You and your lover have been friends since you were kids. Do you think you would still love him if you just met him now?"

Gellian didn't waste a second answering it. "Yes! I've met a lot of people in my 23 years of existence, but it's his charm that separates him from the others. The moment I saw his cute face when we were kids, I already promised myself I'd never look at anyone else. I was flickered by his innocence."

The press conference was over already, but I could still feel the butterflies in my stomach. I'm not even at the venue where it was held, yet I look like I just finished being grilled in a hot seat. The feedback was all positive, and most of the malicious rumors were forfeited online when I checked it.

I was already wearing my unicorn pyjamas while lying on my bed. Burrying my face onto the pillow, hoping for drowsiness to envelope me My hand searched the bedside table when I heard my phone ring. 

 

"Hmm?" Walang gana kong wika habang nakapikit ang mga mata.

"Baby, are you now sleeping? You want me to end the call?" Gellian asked in a rough voice.

 

"N-no!" Halos mahulog ako sa kama nung makita kong siya nga ang tumatawag.

He chuckled. "Did you watch the interview, baby? Did I do a great job?"

 

Pakiramdam ko'y nag-init ang aking mukha matapos maalala ang sinabi mga niya kanina. I walked towards my room's balcony, feeling the cold air brush my skin. Staring at the sky, I wish he was here by my side.

 

"Yes! You did great earlier with Tito Allen." I responded.
