"Don't cause to much trouble for your lady friend gaki!" The Inuzuka matriarch said as she ruffled his hair.
"Oba-sama , stop it! That's really embarrassing I'm not a kid anymore!" Hakuun shouted in embarrassment as she laughed with some of the cousins.
"Fumiko-sama and Hakuun seem to be very close." She commented to Nori and Suki.
Nori, Fumkio's daughter, nodded in agreement. "It's been like that since we were little. Okaa-sama has a soft spot for kids so she's especially close to pack kids."
"It's why she didn't hesitate to help you. You're practically pack to Hakuun and Fumiko-sama cares about him deeply so she couldn't just turn you away." Suki explained and she nodded. It made sense in that case, other clan's should've been more suspicious of her but the Inuzuka are dedicated to the pack and not rationality.
Fumiko apparently felt satisfied in embarrassing Hakuun and let him go. He practically ran from her.
The matriarch looked at her and handed over a book and her rucksack. "The book is about genjutsu since I'm told you have good control. There's also a Chakra paper at the back of the book to check your affinity. Consider it a thanks for helping the gaki out."
She bowed slightly and took the book and her rucksack. "Thank you for the reward Fumiko-sama, I'll be sure to keep Hakuun out of trouble in the future."
"Uh, you corrupted her with the unnecessary honorific! Nori, how could you do this to your own mother." Fumiko said in mock hurt.
"I'm very sorry Okaa-sama. It's just that Okaa-sama is the clan matriarch so naturally Okaa-sama must be given the highest honorific." Nori absolutely said that on purpose to annoy her mother.
They stared each other down with a deadly smile before Nori was hit on the back of the head. "Gaki's these days can make honorific's sound disrespectful." Fumiko mumbled under her breath.
Hakuun grabbed my hand and waved goodbye. "See ya never Oba-sama!"
"See if I help you again gaki!" A voice shouted from a distance.
They both laughed as they made there way to through the gate. It was fun to be in such an environment after so long. The feeling of war wasn't completely gone but it reminded her a lot of home. Home...
"Remember that this has to be a surprise Tenshi." A women with dyed brown hair said to her.
"Of course Masumi, I'll get the cake and be back at 5 so there's nothing to worry about." Tenshi said and gave her best friend a hug.
Masumi smiled and ruffled her hair. "Get going Tenshi or else you'll be late."
"Alright I'm going so don't be pushy!" She exclaimed in mock hurt.
She never did come back. Her friends and family will never know that she's still alive and attempting to forget all about them in a different world. 'Gamer mind.'

But the feeling wasn't natural and she knew better than to block out emotions. Only for fights is it expectable.
"So what do think about the horns Tenshi." Hakuun asked as he gestured to said horns.
"Well while it's cool and all it's kinda hard to hide and it makes me a target. Using a henge will make people suspicious and I haven't even started on genjutsu. Any ideas?" Tenshi said in reply.
He tapped his chin in thought before snapping his fingers as if having a revelation. "You may have hid it before subconsciously and they reviled themselves after you had no strength to hide them. If you concentrate the may go back."
Her eyes widened at the suggestion. She was 80% sure that Hagaromo and Hamura where born with horns but had no need to hide it. The former host of this body must've knew how to do it for so long that she thought it was a natural process when coming into it.
Closing her eyes and remembering her body before the attack she felt something shift inside of her. It didn't feel natural but she would rather not have horns than this weird feeling.
"Huh, so it worked, I didn't think an idiot like you would get it on the first try but then again if you were stupid enough to not know you were hiding horns I'm not surprised." Hakuun said with a grin.
Her eye twitched. "Shut it Koneko, at least I can manage money so what else do you need? It's not like you'll become a merchant so you would be a thief without me." It wasn't the best comeback but the nickname was enough to annoy him.
"I'm not a damn kitten!" He hissed while she started seeing cat ears and a tail. Was that a genjutsu? It was honestly amusing to see him set of by the nickname and she stored it for later blackmail. "But where are we going to go now?"
And that was the question, where should they go? They were near the edge of Kumo so it would be best to go near a more populated area in order to blend in. "Hakuun, we're going to Uzushiogakure." She said with a grin.
