UPDATE (19/01/22): *BONUS PARTS!!!* LOOK OUT FOR MORE
Miles' POV //
Aria and I have been engaged for about two months now and our parents have been crazy about wedding planning.
She's stressed between the bakery and the wedding so I'm going to surprise her.
"Are you ready to go love?" I asked, watching as she locked the doors to the bakery.
She smiled at me, nodding eagerly, getting into the car.
The drive was fairly quick, and she asked lots of questions but that's just who she is; a planner.
I helped her out the car before grabbing the picnic basket out. The sun was setting, the weather was amazing, everything was perfect.
"A picnic on the beach" She gasped, smiling wide as we walked onto the sand.
I hated the beach and so did she, but it was the sunset and watching the waves crash that made it worth it.
I sat on the mat before feeling her lay head on my lap. I smiled down at her, "I got us burgers... McDonalds" I mumbled.
Her eyes widened as she sat back up, "Miles Alexander is finally going to eat fast food?"
I chuckled, nodding my head as I took it out of the basket with a bunch of her favourite snacks.
The smile on her face was all I needed to see; I would blindly walk through hell for her.
I took a bite as she watched me intently, so amused.
"Not too bad" I half shrugged.
She laughed, nodding as she bit into hers. It sexy honestly. Everything she does is so, so beautiful.
"Nothing could compare to Mason's food though" She chuckled.
I hummed in agreement; Mason is an incredible cook.
After eating, she glanced in the basket before gasping, grabbing out a bag.
"You went book shopping without me?" She acted offended.
I smiled, shaking my head. "For you, love"
She has all the books in the library above her cafe, literally every book but her library at home deserves more, she deserves more.
It was getting dark, the streetlights illuminating us. I felt something wet drip onto my hand, it was going to rain.
Aria put the books back in the basket, saving them.
"Ready to go?" I chuckled as she got up, nodding.
I put everything in the boot as the rain poured harder, drenching my back.
I held onto Aria's hand, smiling at her before wrapping my arms around her waist, swaying us.
She laughed, putting her arms around my neck. "Are you dancing with me in the rain?"
I nodded, bringing her closer to kiss those soft lips.
We pulled away, looking into each other's eyes. "Is that close enough to a book thing for you?" I asked, moving the wet hair from her face.
I twirled her around, pulling her back into my arms and dipping, hearing her laugh.
"I can't wait to marry you, Aria Constantine"
Her eyes shut as she smiled, she loved hearing me say that. We then made our way back home quickly; I didn't want her getting sick.
We noticed Mason's car at the house, so we made our way inside. The smell of whatever the hell he was making, filling our nose.
"Honey, you're finally home" He called out.
He was cooking in my kitchen, clearly looking stressed out.
"You guys look like wet dogs, did you forget the key again?" He asked, laughing at the sight of us.
Aria flipped him off, "I'm gonna go shower" She excused herself, kissing my cheek.
Mason's brows furrowed as he stirred the pot, mumbling.
"What happened Mason?" I spoke up.
He continued mumbling, ignoring me so I put my hand on his shoulder.
"Okay, we had a customer come in, we didn't know her name or nothing until after she left, one of the workers were like 'wasn't that Ava Moreno?' but I never saw her cause if i did i would've known" he rambled.
I stared at him blankly, I have no idea who the hell he's talking about and he knew that.
"She's the wife to Oliver Moreno, y'know the chef. Oh my god what if she didn't like the food and tells him, oh i'm fucked, A Moreno ate at my restaurant" he was freaking out to say the least.
"Okay breathe Mason, your food and restaurant are the best in the state for a reason. I'm sure she loved it, if not them she probably would have sent a message to you or something" I calmed him down.
Mason never freaks out or second guesses his food.
He took a deep breath, nodding slowly. "Yeah, you're right. Now go change before you get sick"
There he is.
I made my way up to the room, opening the door to see Aria on the phone.
"Well he's a dumbass if he thinks Carter is even qualified to take over" She exclaimed.
James is back again. I unbuttoned my shirt, taking if off as she watched me, giving me the 'not right now' eyes.
"Y'know what, he can suck a dick and choke, pass that on" Her phone slammed against the bed.
I smiled assuringly, bringing her into my arms. "I'm proud of you, Aria Alexander"
She melted in my arms, pressing her lips against my bare chest.
I flinched, feeling her hand tap me from behind twice. "Go change cupcake" She grinned.
She just tapped my ass, no she slapped it.
"Mrs Alexander" I scoffed, slapping her ass gently as she walked away laughing.
I made my way back downstairs after changing, hearing Mason and Aria laughing.
"I swear to god if you're talking about childhood stories Mason" I groaned making them sit up straight.
They were, I could tell by the way Aria was hiding her face with her hair.
"So when are you guys going to give me a Miles and Aria Jr?" Mason changed the subject, pointing between us with his spoon.
We both chuckled, shaking our head at him.
"We got Maia and baby boy on the way" I shrugged.
Mason turned to Aria who had the spoon in her mouth, eating calmly. He better let her eat.
She shrugged as well, "Miles and I haven't even gotten married yet and you're asking about babies"
He groaned, putting his chin in the palm of his hands.
"Y'all tryna be like every other bitch? It's not like it's forbidden" He rebutted, making a very valid point.
I put my hand on Aria's thigh, squeezing it gently.
"It'll happen when it happens" She smiled, placing her hand by her stomach.
We both want it, kids but only time will tell.
