Derek and I continued to put together the furniture and when I say we almost made so many holes in the wall, I'm not kidding. It got so bad I decided it would just be better to use my magic and lift everything that way instead of almost destroying the new apartment. After four hours of work we got our living room mostly set up other than the TV, we had our dining room table up but neither of us had our rooms done, and it was already 5 p.m.

"Okay, what was going through our mind when we started on the living room and not our bedrooms where we sleep?" I asked looking into my bedroom filled with boxes of mine.

"I was asking myself the same question." He replied.

"I guess I should stop messing around and just do this the quicker way."

"What do you mean?"

I turn and look at him before using my magic to take everything out of the box my bed was in. All the bed pieces were floating in the air as I looked at the instructions, I started to put pieces together and within minutes my bed frame was built. I continued to use my magic to open boxes and put things in their place and after about an hour my room was completely set up, other than the TV once again.

"So you're telling me this whole time you could have just done that?" Derek asked while looking around my room.

"I normally don't do stuff like that because it takes a lot of energy," I reply laying back on the bed. "Normally it takes a while to regain my energy back after something like that unless I use my connection to the underworld and draw power from there."

"How are you feeling now?"

"I'll set up your room for you if you want, all you had to do was ask."

"Well if you are tired you don't have to."

"No, Damon will be here tomorrow morning before I head to work and if he notices you don't have a bedroom yet his mind will start to wonder."

"So your not doing this because I need somewhere to sleep?"

"We both know you'll be in my bed."

"Says who?"

"Says you two hours ago."

"I did say that didn't I?"

"Mhm."

I got up from my bed and went to his bedroom repeating the process I did with my room. I rearranged things to Derek's liking and once things were done the way he liked them I looked around smiling at my work. I also noticed the spot where his TV was supposed to go and gave a small giggle.

"Babe's," I said calling to Derek, he came from the kitchen where he was trying to arrange our silverware. "Maybe we should find someone who knows how to set up TV's out here."

"Really? I thought the three TV boxes were just a design statement." he said with a laugh.

"I mean those would be some very expensive boxes."

He chuckled, "Damon will help me with them tomorrow, when you come back you'll have a TV set up just for you."

"Okay." I looked at my phone and noticed an email from the principal asking why I wasn't at school today, Damon still doesn't know I replaced his email for mine. "I got to drop out of this school first."

"So you're going to become a high school dropout?"

"It's not like they could teach me anything I don't already know."

"You sure about that?"

"Every book in the Mystic fall library I have already read, including a lot of books from around the world. Everything from the history of America to the conspiracy theories of aliens has been embedded into my memory. I tried to go on a hunt for more information about what I am, I never found anything useful. Eventually, I started to focus my energy on more important things like school. I got carried away and then suddenly I knew more information than Einstien himself."

"So your saying I'm living with a genius?"

"I wouldn't go that far, more like living with a bookworm that has an impeccable memory." I said with a smile.

"I can talk to Damon about finding a way to remove you from the school without drawing too much attention." Derek said while putting some of the groceries we ordered in the fridge. "Although I do think you should look into applying for some colleges or something."

"If I don't graduate high school to get into a college I have to go through a lot of testing, then find a school that will accept me, pay for the tuition, and attend the classes all while working my job and trying to not get killed by a Mickelson hunting power freak."

"Just because your a little different from everyone else doesn't mean you shouldn't live your life. You are really smart Faith, you could get into any college you want, and don't say that going to college has no long-term purpose in your life other than a degree. I'm pretty sure there is something you've always wanted to spend your life doing."

"Of course there are things I wanted to spend the rest of my life doing, but those are never a priority when you have other things like running for your life or trying to figure out what you are and why everyone wants you dead."

"So you don't want to fulfill your lifelong dream of being a surgeon?"

"Elena told you?"

"Never said that."

"Her and Hope are the only two people still alive that know about that dream."

"Okay, maybe she did tell me." He said coming over to sit beside me. "But she also said that if anyone could pull off going to all the years of med school and being in such a high-stress environment, it would be you."

"I don't think I could focus enough on the schooling to pull through with something like that."

"You pulled through reading a whole library of books and retained all the information, I think you pull through a few years of college."

"5 years if you take enough classes at a time."

"See you've already done your research, at least take the tests and apply at the college here."

"I'll look into it. But still, that's a lot of money."

"Your dad was rich, you guys have an endless amount of money I'm sure taking some out for school wouldn't make Hope mad."

"I wouldn't say rich."

"He was basically the king of New Orleans, I would say that's pretty rich."
