A/N: Heyyo Snowflakes! I know it's been a really loooooong while. Tbh I wanted to publish multi-chapters last New Years Day but I got stumped with lots of schoolworks so I couldn't write any additional chapters, and I don't really like updating my stories when I'm not ahead by a couple chapters, so I just didn't update at all. Sorry for that, lmfao. For now, here's a little extra that I'd dropped at AO3 a few weeks ago, but forgot to publish here. I'll try to update soon when I get some free time, promise. Sorry again for keeping you all waiting everytime. :((

"And voila! Good as new, 'ttebayo!" Naruko grins, proudly, as she turns to look at Itachi, who had been sent to supervise her.He nods his head in an acknowledging manner, before he takes in the sight of the stone monuments. He had watched Naruko clean up the mess she had caused, all the while listening to her rants about how classes were boring and pranks were fun.
"You did well, Naru-chan." Naruko practically beams under his praise, making him smile. "Do you want to go eat some ramen? Of course we'll pick up Sasuke from the Academy, first."
Naruko scrunches her nose up, "We don't need him around."
Itachi snorts in amusement. He holds out a hand to help Naruko with carrying the cleaning materials, and Naruko obligingly hands him the big pail of currently-dirty water as she herself carries a pack of various sponges and rags.
"But he definitely has custody over your things, don't you think?" He muses, "Would you rather he gets angry at you and not return your bag? Kushina-san would just scold you more, too."
He chuckles when Naruko lets out a frustrated sigh before she leads the way towards the path down the stone monument,
"Fine! But you're treating me to ramen, right?"
"Hn," He calmly mumbles as he trails after her.
They talk some more as they go along the way. It was mostly Naruko being her talkative self and Itachi responding to her questions or giving out expected reactions. Naruko also asked Itachi for his inputs on some stuff that she actually bothered to pay attention to during class sessions, and he patiently answered them without thinking too much, until one particular question made him pause for a moment.
"If I were to know what would happen in the future?" Itachi's eyes felt like they were planning to leave a hole through Naruko as he stared at her intently, "Are you perhaps talking about something like foresight, Naru-chan?"
"Foresight," Naruko mumbles, before nodding her head, "Y-Yeah. Something like that, I guess. So, what'd you do if you know what would happen in the future?"
She patiently watches as Itachi looks at the ground under them, then to the trees around them, and up at the clear, blue skies.
"I don't think I would want to know, actually. And even if I knew, I don't think it would be right to change anything. I figure it'd be best to let things take place as they should."
Naruko blinks, after finally hearing his answer. She tries not to frown as she recollects her thoughts. Once she has regained her composure, "...Why?"
"If I quote what's commonly stated by others, everything supposedly happens for a reason?"
"Do you mean to say that everything is God's will or something like that?"
