It's been a week. Everleigh pleaded to Norma to let her stay home.
"I don't wanna go to school." Everleigh says.
"You're gonna go." Norma says.
"Pl-" Norma cuts Everleigh off.
"No. You're going. Get up." Norma says strictly.
Everleigh sighs and gets up.

She goes into the bathroom. Everleigh starts crying.
"I don't want to see him." Everleigh whispers to herself. Everleigh has been doing this every morning for the past week. It's became part of her routine.

Everleigh finally gets ready and she goes downstairs for breakfast.
"I made pancakes sweetheart." Norma says while placing Everleigh's food down.
Everleigh just nods and sits down.

Norma drives Everleigh to school. The whole drive there Everleigh just stared out the window with tears threatening to come out. Everleigh gets out of the car without saying anything.

Norma thinks this is very weird but she let it go because she thought Everleigh was just having a bad week.

Everleigh was at her locker getting her English books when Jackson comes over to her.
"Hey hot stuff." Jackson says in a flirty tone.
"Get away from me." Everleigh spits out.
Jackson just smirks at her.

Everleigh starts walking away but Jackson followed her.
"You have to admit that you did like it." Jackson smirks.
"What the hell is wrong with you?" Everleigh shouts.
"Nothing baby." Jackson flirts.
"Stop being a dick!" Everleigh screams.
She then stormed off to class.

Norma picks up Everleigh from school.
"How was school Ev?" Norma asks.
"Don't call me that." Everleigh says.
"What? Ev?" Norma asks confused.
"Yeah." Everleigh says with sass.
"Why?" Norma asks frustrated.
"Because I don't like it!" Everleigh raises her voice.
"Listen hear missy! You're not gonna talk to me like that! I'm still your mother! I don't care how bad of a day you had! That doesn't give you an excuse to treat me like this!" Norma loses it.
Everleigh just sits there with a smug look on her face.

They get to the house and Everleigh storms inside and into her room. Norma just sits there dumbfounded. Alex then pulls up into the driveway. They both get out of their cars. They come together and kiss.
"Hey honey." Norma says.
"Hey." Alex says.
"Let's go inside. We have to talk." Norma says seriously.
They both walk in together.

Norma and Alex go into the kitchen.
"We have to talk about Everleigh." Norma says.
"Yes we do." Alex agrees.
"She has been so rude after she came phone from that party." Norma says.
"I've noticed." Alex says.
Norma nods.
"I told you that she should have stayed home but no she has to go and be a kid." Alex says irritated.
"I know it's all my fault." Norma says.
Alex walks out of the room.

Norma starts making dinner. She finishes up in 30 minutes.
"Dinners ready!" Norma yells to Alex and Everleigh.
They both come downstairs together.

Alex, Everleigh, and Norma sit down at the table. They starts eating.
"So how was school today sweetheart?" Norma asked to start conversation.
"I don't want to talk about." Everleigh pouts.
"You can tell us hunny." Norma insists.
"I said I don't want to talk about it!" Everleigh shouts.
"Hey don't talk to your mother like that!" Alex raises his voice.
"I'll talk to her however I want!" Everleigh yells.
"That's it young lady! You're gonna tell us what's been wrong with you for the past week and a half!" Alex shouts.
"Nothing's wrong!" Everleigh storms off and goes upstairs.
"I'm going up there to talk to her." Alex says quickly but Norma grabs him before he can leave.
"Don't. Just give her some time to cool down." Norma insists.
"Ok but she's gonna get it from me when I do talk to her." Alex threatens.
Norma just sighs and continues to eat.

Alex and Norma head upstairs a hour after the argument. They walk into Everleigh's room.
"Hey sweetie." Norma says comforting.
Everleigh sighs and turns away from Norma.
"Come on Everleigh. Stop being so stubborn. Please." Norma says.

Everleigh gets up out of bed. She goes over to the doorway of her room. Before she could get out, Alex catches her and pulls her back into the room.
"Let go of me! Stop!" Everleigh yells as she swings her arms around and hits Alex. Alex tightens his grip on her. Everleigh finally stops fighting and she starts sobbing into Alex's arms.
"I'm sorry daddy." Everleigh whispers.

Everleigh hasn't called Alex daddy since she was 6.

Norma comes over to them and hugs around Alex and Everleigh. They all calm down. Norma puts her hands on Everleigh's shoulders.
"You can tell us what you need to get off your chest." Norma says soothingly.
"I don't have anything on my chest." Everleigh whispers.
"Yes you do. I know you. You never act up like this. Only if you want to say something." Norma says.

"I was raped." Everleigh stutters as she whispers.
"When?" Norma asks.
"At the party." A tear falls down Everleigh's face.
"Oh baby." Norma whispers as she hugs Everleigh.
"Do you actually believe me?" Everleigh whispers.
"Yes." Norma mutters.
Alex just stands there in shock.
"I should've listened to dad." Everleigh sobs.
"It's ok." Alex finally gets out of shock enough to talk to Everleigh.
"I get it. You just wanted to go to a party." Alex mutters.
"Why do you guys believe me? I heard that many people don't believe girls that accuse someone of doing this to them." Everleigh asks.
"Because I was one of those girls that wasn't believed."
"I'm so sorry mom." Everleigh says.
"It's ok. It was a long time ago." Norma stutters.
Everleigh just collapses into Norma's arms and she just sobs.

Everleigh, Norma, and Alex all huddle together into a hug.
