~Chapter 5~

I had just arrived at school the next day and I sat down in my seat next to Taehyun.
"Good Morning!!"
"Don't talk to me."
"But I thought we were friends no-"
"I said don't talk to me okay?"
Taehyun put his AirPods in and layed his head down like he always does.
I sighed and went over to Kai's desk because the teacher was late today.
"Hey Kai!"
Kai looked up at Soobin and wiped his tears.
"Hi hyung....."
"Hey! Why are you crying?"
"No reason...."
"Hey if you don't want to tell me you don't have to. Just don't cry okay? I'm sure it'll all work it. Just give it time!"
Kai hugged the older boy and Soobin hugged him back.
After a long hug Soobin heard the teachers heels and he quickly sat back down in his seat.
Soobin was getting his notebook out of his bag but when he looked up he saw a girl in front of him with flowers. Soobin immediately stood up because he was blocking the view of Taehyun.
"Oh do you want to give those to Taehyun-"
"No I like you Soobin oppa!"
Soobin stood there and stared at the girl blankly.
Ew oppa. I hate that word.
"Uhm thanks for the offer but I'm not really looking for anyone to date.....but seriously thank you for the kind thought!!"
What he really meant was that he was gay.
The girl gave him a sad smile and walked over to her desk.
Apparently Soobin had been the talk of the school since the first day he came.
He got confessed to all day until he couldn't take it anymore.
"Look I'm gay. Thanks for the thought but I'm very gay. Like I only date males. You're a female so sorry. But we can be friends."
The girl look at him disgusted and yelled:
"THE SOOBIN FREAK IS GAY!!"

"WHAT DO I DO?!"
Taehyun was at Soobin's house eating snacks and working on the project.
"I don't know. We have a lot of gays at our school. But we have way more homophobics."
Soobin looked at Taehyun and sighed.
"Are you homophobic too??"
"Nah. I don't know why the guys act homophobic. They literally follow me on instagram and comment on it every time I post saying, and I quote:
"Omg Taehyun you're so hot❤️❤️"
"But I mean they want what they want."
Soobin scoffed at how confident he was about these things.
"Have you ever had feelings for a guy? Like real feelings and not just gay panics?"
Soobin sat back down in the chair across from Taehyun.
"No, but I just haven't found someone who cares yet."
Taehyun sat back in his chair and sighed.
"You're so cheesy. And boring."
Soobin rolled his eyes and continued working on the project.

The next few days Soobin got bullied and gossiped about because of his sexuality. But today was very bad in particular. Soobin was walking down the hall when somebody said his name out loud.
"Look it's Soobin!! The gay one!! What kind of freak likes the same gender?!"
The whole crowd of people in the hallway broke into laughs and giggles.
"I bet it's because he's so ugly no girl would ask him out!!"
Soobin turned around and came face to face with Jennie. Jennie got closer to him and whispered in his ear.
"No one will ever love you. You freak."

Those words. Those were the words that cut through him like a knife. He got flashbacks of his past and he heard voices in his head say those words to him over and over again.

Soobin teared up and clenched his fists. He was about to break down but then suddenly he heard a loud yell.
"TAEHYUN'S HERE!!"
Everyone ran out of his way and watched him walk towards the two teenagers.
"Oh h-hi Tae-Taehyun..."
Jennie stuttered while Taehyun glared at her.

I felt like that glare could kill someone in 000000.01 seconds. It's scary and intimidating.

"Yah Kim Jennie who do you think you are?"
"W-what?"
Taehyun got closer to me and held my hand.

What.....The.....Hell.....?

Taehyun looked around at everyone and held our hands up in the air.
"He's my boyfriend so leave him alone!!"

IM HIS WHAT?!
