~Chapter 9~

"Hi Mi-ra!"

It was after school and the two boys were standing in front of the little girl's grave. Taehyun looked at Soobin who was smiling with tears in his eyes.

"It's your ninth birthday today berry! Oppa misses you and loves you so much!"

Soobin then crouched down on one knee and put a flower by her tombstone.
A tear streamed down Soobin's face slowly. He wiped it with his sleeve and sighed shakily.

"Let's go..."
Soobin said to the younger as they both got back in the car.
The car ride was silent. Taehyun didn't dare to utter a word, for fear of making him feel bad. And Soobin couldn't speak because if he did he would end up crying.

"S-Soobin Hyung?"
Soobin looked at Taehyun and nodded.

"Do you wanna maybe go somewhere.....I mean I completely understand if you don't want too....I just thought it...uh...help."

Soobin softly smiled and whispered.
"Sure..."

Taehyun stopped the car at a beach and opened the door for Soobin.

"Thanks."
The two of them walked to the sand and sat down. The sun was setting beautifully as they watched it set.

"You know you're not so bad after all Tae."
Taehyun looked at Soobin who was already looking at him.

"What do you mean?"
Soobin chuckled and sighed.

"I thought you were this old grumpy cat who was never happy."

"I kinda am."

"No, you're not. You're actually really nice."

"Me?"
Soobin nodded his head and scooted closer to him.

"You're actually just a cute little kitten who wants to be loved."
Taehyun tilted his head and looked at Soobin confused.
Soobin laughed and layed his head on the younger's shoulder.

"Thank you Taehyun."

"You're welcome puppy."
