"Hyung please talk to me.....I know I shouldn't have let him do it....I'm so-" Soobin stood up pushing the chair which made Kai flinch.
"I'm not mad at you, I just don't feel like talking right at the moment." Kai nodded and sat down slowly. The silence went on for about another 15 minutes before they heard somebody talking.
"What happened?" Soobin immediately got up from his chair and hugged Taehyun.
"It's all okay now..just lay and rest." Taehyun hugged him back and nuzzled into the olders neck.
"Sorry....did I scare you?" Without breaking the hug Soobin replied with a head nod.
"It's okay. I won't leave you I promise. I'm okay." Taehyun felt warm wet tears on his neck as he ran his fingers through the others hair.
"Don't cry....it's all okay now."
After about 5 minutes they broke the hug and Kai came rushing over crying in relief.
"I thought you died because of me... I'm so s-sorry.." Taehyun patted his head and softly smiled.
"It's not your fault Kai. Don't think that way."
The moment was interrupted when the doctor entered the room.
"Oh, you're up. So I have some news, we need to take the bullet out, but we took some tests and it seems you're allergic to Lidocaine. Lidocaine is the numbing medicine we use for surgery. We only get to put a little bit in your body, so you will be in severe pain for the next week." Soobin got worried as for Taehyun just nodded.
"That's fine." The doctor nodded and resumed his statement.
"We will start the surgery now, it will only take about an hour, and when you wake up you'll stay here for two more days and then we'll discharge you." They all nodded and agreed as they took Taehyun to the surgery room.
Soobin and Kai were sitting in the waiting room next to it. But suddenly a doctor came outside of the room calling for backup. After a few minutes about 6 doctors rushed into the room. Soobin became worried and stood up. After about 10 minutes they rushed a stretcher with a person on it to another room. Soobin eventually paced back and forth until a doctor came out. He ran to the doctor worried.
"What going on? What's wrong with him?" The doctor looked at him with a gloomy expression.
"We're about to lose him sir.."
That was when his heart dropped and Kai ran over to them. Soobin got so dizzy that he eventually passed out with a worried Kai catching him. (Good thing they're literally in a hospital.)
When Soobin woke up he saw three boys and 7 girls around them. Joy ran over to Soobin and hugged him.
"ARE YOU OKAY?!" Soobin was going to say yes but he suddenly sat up and panicked.
"WHERES TAEHYUN?!" Everyone looked at each other gloomily. Soobin just shook his head and ran to Taehyun's room. He opened the door and saw Taehyun laying on the hospital bed with his eyes closed. The machine was barley beeping but he was still alive. Soobin sighed in relief as he went to Taehyun and held his hand. Sana walked in the room and put her hand on Soobin's shoulder.
"The doctor said he had a really bad allergic reaction which led to him going into a coma. The probability of him waking up is really low.." "I don't care....there's still a chance....there's still a chance he didn't break the promise.."
1 year later
Soobin had gone everyday to go see his boyfriend in the hospital. There hasn't been a single day when he has thought of cheating or giving up on him. The doctors said his condition was getting worse and worse but he didn't care. He knew that Taehyun wouldn't give up, that he was the strongest person he knew.
Soobin was sitting at home doing his homework when suddenly he got a phone call. He picked it up and answered.
"Hello?"
"Hello. Is this Mr.Choi Soobin?"
"Yes this is him."
"The patient Kang Taehyun has woken up."
Soobin's heart rose as he stood up.
"REALLY?!"
"Ye-" He hung up the phone and ran outside of his house. He didn't get a taxi nor did he take his bike, he ran. He ran so fast that he almost fell. He arrived at the hospital and opened the door. The red haired boy looked at him and smiled. Tears streamed down their faces as Soobin ran and hugged him.
"Taehyun......"
The two boys cried and embraced each other not ever wanting to let go of each other. They apologized to each other multiple times feeling bad for one another.
"I love you..."
"I love you too."
One month later
"Where are we going?" The two boys were in the car and of course Taehyun was driving.
"It's a surprise." About 15 minutes later they arrived at the same amusement park as last year.
"Isn't this-"
"Yup." The two boys got out of the car and stood and in front of the entrance.
"Thanks for bringing me here."
"You're welcome"
"I love you kitty." Taehyun kissed Soobin's hand and and intertwined their fingers.
"Always and forever my puppy."
