Kick Some Ass

~ATHENA POV~

It was the day of the tournament and I was a nervous wreck. What if I messed up? What if I lost a fight? I was shaken out of my thoughts by Robby nudging my arm.

"You alright Thena?" He asked.

"I'm fine. Just nervous."

"The great Athena LaRusso is nervous?" He teased.

"Shut up Keene."

Robby walked over and wrapped his arm around my shoulder.

"You'll do fine." He assured me. "You're Athena LaRusso for goodness sake. You got this."

"You're right," I said taking in a deep breath. "I got this."

We walked in and to the others. We had gotten a few new Cobras. Even some girls joined.

"Athena." Silver called.

I walked over and he pulled me away from everyone else.

"You nervous?" He asked.

I shook my head. I couldn't tell him that I was about to piss myself.

"Good." He smirked. "Now remember 'A man can't stand he can't fight'." Terry recited.

"A man can't stand he can't fight." I repeated.

There was a weird sound from behind us and I looked over and saw dad staring at Silver in a type of horror. When I looked over Silver grabbed my attention again.

"I want you to remember that when you fight your sister."

I nodded.

"Don't even think about her being your sister. She's the competition."

I nodded again.

"Go kick some ass LaRusso." Terry told me with a smile.

I smiled back, ignoring the looks from Miyagi-Do and Eagle-Fang.
