Larusso [Anthony Larusso x reader]

Sparring day

The rest of the school day went by so slow. After school I was super excited. Sam came to pick us up before taking us to the dojo. Anthony decided to come with and check out some stuff I would be learning.

Y/n: hey Mr. Larusso!

Daniel: hey y/n! Ready to get started?

Y/n: yep!

Today he started practice for me and hour earlier so I could get some one on one instruction. I went into the bathroom off the side of the dojo and changed into some workout clothes. I came back out and stood in the dojo in front of Mr. Larusso.

Daniel: ok so today we're going to start learning the crane kick. Which won me my very first all valley championship title.

We bowed and he taught me the basics and the makeup of the kick, I learn quit fast. Before no time he was teaching me other defense and a little offense. I was getting really good and felt confident about the all valley. After alli was one of the best fighters in the valley enough to hough I was only 14. Today we had sparring. Today we agreed to train with eagle fang. We got in a circle and crowded around the platform.

Daniel: alright, today, were going to do some sparring. Well call pairs up and sensei Lawrence and I will be keeping track of points. Got it?

Everyone: YES SENSEIS!!!

Everyone shouted very excited for sparring day.

Johnny: ok, were gonna set your names up in a sparring grid, kind of like the all valley so first up is, let's see here.

Daniel: Devon and Sam!

They headed up to the platform.

Daniel: look at us, bow.

They did.

Johnny: look at eachother, bow.

They did.

Johnny: fight!

Devon and Sam have become friends and to them and pretty much everyone, this was for fun and practice.

In the knick of time Sam won the last point and everyone cheared.

Devon: awesome job Sam! Can't wait for the tournament!

Sam: yeah, you too, can't wait!

Anthony walked up beside me and gave me a hug.

Anthony: this is so cool!

Y/n: I'm telling you, you should join

Anthony: maybe

We both laughed and he kissed my forehead.

[Sam's POV]

I won last minute against Devon then I ran over to my dad. He congratulated me before we looked over at Anthony and y/n.

Daniel: woah, did you see that?

Sam: yep

I said as Anthony kissed y/n on the forehead.

Daniel: are they dating?

Sam: yep, Anthony asked her last night

Daniel: finally

We both laughed as I walked off the platform.

[Y/n's POV]

Next ones called up was Demitri and Miguel. Demitri won by a lucky shot but they both played it off, after all it was for fun.

Daniel: next were going to have Y/n and  Hawk!

Anthony: woah, isn't Hawk way older than you?

Y/n: only by a few years, and this is what I've been training for

Anthony: ok, we'll be safe

Y/n: I will

I grave him a hug and stepped up on the platform. Hawk and I faced eachother.

Johnny: face me, bow.

We did.

Daniel: face eachother, bow.

We did.

Johnny and Daniel: fight!

They said in unison.

I got in the first sweep going to strike before he knocked me over at strikes. 1 point hawk, 0 y/n.  We stood up and started again. I easily knocked him over. Striking him in the stomach. Score  1-1. We fought more and the score was down to a tie. 2-2. We about to fight and I looked over to Mr. Larusso giving him a look. He signaled back. I knew exactly what to do. Hawk got into fighting stance and I got into my stance.  The crane kick. Hawk and I are by far the toughest fighters in Miyagi do. Despite how young I was we had the same skill level.

I got in my stance. (Flashback to Daniel vs Johnny in the all valley when they were young). Daniel smirked.

Johnny: fight!

Hawk came at me and I kicked. He fell back. Everyone cheered  for me. It took Hawk a few minutes to recover but he eventually got up and congratulated me. I knew I had a high skill set but to beat Hawk was a complete victory.

Daniel: Amazing job y/n!!!

I ran back to Anthony and jumped into his arms, getting back pats all the way there. He hugged me for a minute and set me back down.

Anthony: awesome job! You gotta fight like that during the tournament!

Y/n: yeah!

We finished everyone sparring and was done for the day. Mr. Larusso, Anthony, and Sam gave me a ride home. Mr. Larusso talked about he used the same kick I used to beat Hawk back in 84' to beat his rival in the all valley. God I loved karate. To be honest. It saved my life.
