Larusso [Anthony Larusso x reader]

The last week

[Y/n's POV]

This is it. The last week until the all Valley. I am so excited and nervous at the same time. I've got training this morning and I'll be receiving my official miyagi do hi today as well as my belt. Mr. Larusso says he wanted to have a ceremony since I was a very skilled fighter and the best for my age(better then some of the older kids too). He said it was very special to him that he has this ceremony because we were very close and he was proud of me. I got up around 9am, training starts at 10:30 so I got up and got a shower. After I picked out my training outfit and put my hair into two tight Dutch braids.

After I got dressed I grabbed a drawstring and put in my water bottle, wallet, charger, phone and an extra change of clothes, just in case Mr.Larusso made us do the wheel today.

I finished up and grabbed my bag and my phone before running downstairs.

Moon: good luck at training today!

Y/n: thanks! See ya later sis!

I said before rushing out the door. I grabbed my skateboard before skating down the street. After about 15 minutes I reached the dojo. I kicked up my skateboard and left it inside the gate before making my way to the back of the dojo. I sat my bag down right outside the door of the dojo and went out back to find Mr. Larusso watering plants. We had about a half hour until everyone got there.

Y/n: hey Mr. Larusso!

Daniel: hey Y/n! What are you doing here early?

Y/n: I was wondering if I could use the dojo for meditation before training?

Daniel: yeah of course, go ahead! I think Anthony should be here in about 5 minutes, he wanted to be here for your ceremony

Y/n: ok, thanks Mr. Larusso, see ya in a bit!

Daniel:no problem, see ya!

I walked up to dojo, grabbing my bag before heading in. I set my bag down by the door and took my shoes off, placing them beside my bag.

I faced the front of the dojo before starting my stretches. After I finished stretched I sat there in the silence before practice some basics moves gracefully, and meditating. Taking in and enjoying the silence.

[Anthony's POV]

It was early but I got ready to go, I had to be there for y/n. I was going to get a ride but I just decided to walk since it wasn't that far away. I grabbed my phone and my wallet before making my way to the dojo. Around ten minutes later I arrived. I made sure to be quiet  but it didn't sound like anyone was there so I went around the back to see my dad finishing up watering some plants.

Daniel: hey kiddo

Anthony: hey dad, anyone else here yet?

Daniel: other than y/n no, she came in early to use the dojo, if you go in please be quiet

Anthony: okie dokie

I quietly went to the door of the dojo, sliding it open to see y/n doing her warm up moves gracefully, god she's so beautiful.

[Y/n's POV]

I have been focusing on my breathing and movement. I've been in the dojo for around 10-15 minutes when I heard the door, open and close again. I finished up what I was doing and turned towards the door to see Anthony.

Y/n: hey!

Anthony: hey pretty girl

I ran over to give him a hug.

Anthony: excited for today?

Y/n: yeah, of course, thanks for coming

I said with a big smile. He kissed me on the forehead.

Anthony: anything for you

I smiled and blushed and a little.

Anthony: now, I wanna see some of those cool kicks my dad has been teaching you

Y/n: ok then let's go!

I put my shoes on and lead him out to the back yard. We walked over to his thing that held boards. The highest one went above my head.

Anthony: how which can you get?

Y/n:the whole way up, wanna see?

He shook his head yes and I prepared my self. I got in my stance before launching myself, spinning in the air and breaking the board highest up before landing steadily again.

Anthony: holy shit

Daniel: language!

Mr. Larusso shouted from across the yard. Causing us to laugh. People finally started showing up. Hawk and Demitri first.

Hawk: hey y/n! I see you've been working on board breaking, nice job!

He said gesturing to the broken board.

Y/n: yeah thanks! Can you help me replace this board by chance?

Hawk: no problem! 

He took down the broken board and put a new one up. Finally everyone was here so Daniel stepped up on the platform getting ready to speak.

Daniel: Everyone gather around! We are going to get this ceremony started!

He shouted. Everyone gathered and got quiet. Mr. Larusso gestured for me to come up on the platform.

Daniel: we have only one week left until the tournament! I am very, very proud of every single one of you! Buy today we gather here in honor of Y/n receiving her official miyagi do gi and her belt!

He went to Sam who was holding the GI as well as the belt.

Daniel: y/n, as the youngest member of miyagi do karate, you have brought an advanced skill set for your age. You have brought great honor to us all. And with that I present you with your official gi and black belt!

Everyone clapped as he handed me the gi and the belt before pulling me in for a hug and whispering in my ear.

Daniel: you would've made Mr. Miyagi very proud

We both smiled then let go before I walked off the platform. I walked over to Anthony and Sam, getting pats on the back the whole way there, I was so happy.
