Hello everyone! I'm so sorry for ghosting everyone but I had certain reasons why...but I'm here now! There will be more one shots in here so I hope you all enjoy <3!

Alberto's POV

It was a chilly day..especially in March

Not a huge shocker because it's always windy and cold when it rains in Portorosso. I had my bag packed to get me through one week in Genova! It was Luca's birthday in 3 days and I wanted to surprise him later this afternoon by getting him and Giulia from school as my gift to him!

Massimo told me it sounded like a good idea when I told him around awhile after New Years, while some kids a little older than me around town told me it sounded a bit charming and sweet! Bleh! That's not what I'm going for! Luca is my best friend! Nothing more or less, I think...

"All set ragazzio?" Massimo asked

"Yes Dad! I got my satchel and luggage packed! And here's my ticket!"

"*deep sigh's* Alright, just be careful ok?"

"Si Dad Si! I promise! I'll make sure to call you once I'm there and settled!"

"Ok..just making sure. You better get on that train before it leaves you behind!" Massimo said letting out a small chuckle after speaking

"Ok ok I'm going!"

I ran over to Massimo and gave him a huge hug before grabbing my luggage and jumping inside the train.

I couldn't believe it! Not only was I going to see Luca again, but I was visiting somewhere new! I've so many good things about Genova too! How it lights up so bright at night and how there are so many more people and places to explore!

I had found myself a seat somewhere in the back and opened my satchel and grabbed my sketchpad and pencil and decided to draw. I do have a long ride ahead of me! May as well do something to pass the time!

Luca's POV

It was 6:56am...

I had school in about an hour, dang.

It's a Wednesday, that means my birthday is in 3 days! I just wish I could spend it with Berto..
That's what I really want for my birthday. But for now I'll stick to cake and cards.

I had gotten out of bed to not be surprised Giulia was still fast asleep. It always makes me laugh whenever I see she is still asleep when I'm awake, she always makes these wired faces! But besides that-

I had gotten dressed myself in the bathroom in my school uniform, then I brushed my teeth and hair and made my way downstairs for breakfast. I had slowly made my way downstairs to see Giulia scarfing down cereal while watching TV in her pyjama's! She seemed to be watching some sort of Italian drama film, but I could be wrong. I saw Giulia's mom (aka Maria) sipping on a small cup of espresso while working on a small water colour painting.

I opened the pantry and noticed there was no cereal, just oatmeal-

"Sorry Luca, to slow ;)" Giulia said with a smirk

I just glared at her and said nothing. I had swiped a package of oatmeal and gave her another jokingly glare before turning on the kettle. She laughed at me as she was washing her bowl before making her way partially up the stairs before saying

"You remember we have a test today right?" She said staring at me

I palmed myself in the face, I forgot we had an exam before our next report card! It was an important one too..
