Luca's POV

I've only been back in Portorosso for week and it feels like it's only been a few hours! It's so hard to believe that summer may just end before I know it! And well.. I guess that means I'll be leaving Alberto...

Again..

But that's still about two months away! I can't forget that! I should probably consider making my way downstairs to greet my ragazzo and Giulia!

(HEADS UP!! Luca is 17 while Alberto is 18! So yes they can date lol)

No one's POV

Luca had made his way downstairs to greet Alberto and Giulia to only see Giulia sitting on a chair at the kitchen table drinking what seemed to be apple juice while she seemed to being reading an old text book from school.

At this point Luca was curious to know where his boyfriend was at this time..he usually was awake at this time being that it was 9:23am and there was no sigh of him!

Luca walked to the kitchen table and pulled out a chair and gave Giulia a questionable glance.

"Can I help you Luca?"

"Ok, you can tell me"

"Ha tell you what?!"

"What's your brother planning for me this time Giulia?"

"Wish I could say, I was up at the crack of Dawn biking out deliveries and I return to yet see him awake, same for you"

"So he's actually still asleep?"

"Most likely, not sure why, he has work later on so he should be up soon."

Luca opened his mouth to speak, but had not much to say. He was confused. He knew his boyfriend better than anyone, so the fact that today he was off schedule was crazy odd!

Luca stood up from his chair and made his way upstairs to see what the source of all this is.

Luca had a steady pace while walking up the stairs being that they were super old and loud, and the last thing Luca wanted was to ruin the one day the Alberto actually considered to take a break and sleep in. But unfortunately... this wasn't the case.

Luca had reached his boyfriends room and slowly reached out for the door knob before hearing and cracking like noise..

Paper?..

Alberto's mattress?..

Perhaps broken glass??

It was none.. it was the sound of Alberto letting out a sickening chest cough...

This sound instantly triggered Luca making him jiggle the door knob open and then quickly flung open the door to see Alberto leaning against his bed frame... pale...drained..and weak.

Luca felt a wave a fear flow on him as he ran towards Alberto. Luca wrapped his arm's around the larger male and felt some small tears begging to form and sting in the corner of his eyes.

"Berto!? What's the matter?? You look awful amore!"

"Nahh I'm fine..just a little dizzy that's all"

"Your lying...you look like your about to barf!"

"Lu like I said I'm fine! I'm just gonna get up so I can go to work.."

Alberto forces himself off his bed. But instantly as he got up, Luca bounced into a protective boyfriend mode. When Alberto had gotten up, he was barley able to stand and was quickly losing consciousness just by standing.

"No! You are going to stay here and rest Alberto Scorfano! And you can't say otherwise!"

"But Luca.."

"No "but's" Alberto! I said no!"

"But I don't feel very-"

Just as Alberto stopped in his sentence he fainted falling right into Luca's arms and lap on the floor. (just like in the photo 😅)

Luca sat on the floor and held Alberto in his lap and arms just letting him lay there, being that he seemed to just be sleeping. Luca brushed his fingers through Alberto's golden locks and then kissed him on the forehead.

"Oh amore... sometimes it's not a horrible idea to take a break 💕"
