All right so before this begins, I had this whole weird prediction recently where when Alberto is scared, sad or worried, he'll always holds onto Luca's wrist while they're together or while they're asleep Alberto will grab and hold onto Luca's shirt so he feels safe. ANYWAYS-

Luca POV

Luca leaned his body against the kitchen counter as he worked on dinner for he and his lover. While he was cutting up carrots for the carrot soup he was preparing he heard the kitchen door open. Luca turned his head around to the door only to be greeted by Alberto, who seemed to be quite upset? That was new...

Lucas smile at his lover quickly turned into an slight frown. Luca spoke.

"Tereso are you alright? You don't look like yourself right now"

Alberto said nothing as he hung has satchel on some coat hooks. Alberto walked in Lucas direction and paused for a moment when they were face to face. Luca looked at Alberto with gentle but sad eyes. Luca rested a hand on Alberto's face and rubbed his thumb along his jawline. Alberto closed his eyes and held Lucas wrist gently.

Once Luca let his hand fall from Alberto's face, he started to turn back towards the cutting to continue dinner, but quickly realized that Alberto hadn't let his grip go from Lucas wrist. Luca became confused. He started to try and free his wrist, but failed when he felt Alberto gently let his head lay on Lucas shoulder. Luca laughed gently.

"What are you doing?" Luca said with a chuckle.

"Resting.." Alberto said softly without letting his grip go.

Luca looked back at Alberto and softened his eyebrows. Then Luca leaned forward and kissed Alberto's forehead before he continued with dinner.

As Luca came close to finishing dinner, Alberto still hadn't moved a muscle, in fact, Luca began to wonder is his lover had fallen asleep. So Luca moved his shoulder up and down to see if Alberto was awake or not. Once Luca saw Alberto gently open his beautiful emerald green eyes, Luca couldn't help but smile. Alberto look at him and spoke with his eyes a simple "Hm?".

"Would you be able to grab two bowls and pass the, to me?" Luca questioned. Alberto nodded and began to reach towards the cupboard. Then Luca finally felt Alberto let go of his wrist, he let out a sigh of relief from the freeness he now had. But that shortly ended once Alberto had set the bowls next to the soup pot then gently wrap his hand around Lucas wrist again. Luca groaned quietly, but still loud enough for Alberto to hear. Alberto looked at Luca and whimpered sadly as he let go of his wrist. Luca turned his attention to Alberto.

"Sorry." Alberto said backing away from Luca. Luca frowned.

"No..no I'm sorry amore, I didn't mean it like that" Luca said sympathetically.

Alberto rubbed his arm looking at his feet. Luca watched and recorded the emotions on Alberto's face. He really wasn't himself. Not once had Luca ever remembered Alberto whimpering, maybe when he was sick that one time, but besides that, this wasn't like him. To be quite, to be sad, to be...

Clingy...

Luca walked to the kitchen table with their dinner and pulled out a chair to sit on then pulled another one close to him. Then he patted the available seat for Alberto to see to motion towards him to sit on it. Alberto walked slowly and sat in the chair.

"Alright, spill it Scorfano, what's the matter?.." Luca said gently but sternly.

Alberto sighed. "I..." He paused. "Was assaulted..I think?.." He said shrugging his shoulders.

Lucas frowned his eyebrows and motioned for Alberto to continue.

"Some guy that works with me at the beach noticed the ring on my finger and questioned if I had a lover. So I said yes I did." Alberto paused.

"And?" Luca said trying to get Alberto to continue.

Alberto ate a spoonful of soup then continued. "He asked me who the lucky girl was. So when I mentioned it was no "she" but a "he", he got got upset and started yelling some words that didn't make sense but from what was from his attitude I assumed it was meant to be hurtful towards us.." Alberto said while still eating.

Even though both boys had been together and had been living on land permanently since Luca had graduated, they still struggled to understand some things that humans would say, even sometimes things they'd do.

Luca scooted his chair closer to Alberto and said nothing, but just held him in a tight hug. Luca picked up Alberto's hand while still in their hug and placed Alberto's hand on his wrist. Alberto smiled against Luca in their hug.

"You know you can tell me anything right sunshine?" Luca said ending the hug.

Alberto nodded. "I know...that's why I love you" Alberto said smiling.

Luca kissed Alberto on the lips and added. "I love you so much Alberto Scorfano.." Luca said with a gentle smile.

"I love you more...Luca Scorfano" Alberto added"

BONUS

Luca crawled into bed while Alberto laid asleep with his messy honeycomb curls splattered against his pillow. Luca smiled and ran his hand trough his lovers messy curls.

Luca then laid down in bed and nestled close to Alberto and stared at his freckled face. Luca giggled and rested his head on Alberto's chest. Then he felt a slight tug on his pyjama shirt. Luca looked down to see that Alberto had his hand scrunched in a fist tugging at Lucas shirt. Luca couldn't help but giggle.

Luca continued to try and fall asleep, but slightly speak out an "I love you" before allowing sleep to take over his mind.
