Virgo sat quietly in the hall- overhearing Libra and Gemini gossiping about the upcoming Talent Show. Virgo really wasn't interested in stupid things like talent shows- she was more inclined towards her studies and getting good grades.
Later that day at lunch Virgo sat at her usual table with Taurus- who was somehow eating pizza.
'Virgo, are you gonna enter that talent show?' asked Taurus as she took a bite of her delicious smelling pizza.
'Nah...' Virgo replied as she started up her laptop.
Capricorn then strode over to their table and sat down.
'Hey guys,' he said calmly as he took his headphones out of his ears and turned to Taurus and stole a slice of her pizza.
Taurus then gave him the death glare but allowed him to take it anyway since they're friends.
'Virgo, you should seriously enter that talent show,' said Capricorn as he leaned over to see what Virgo was doing on her laptop.
'Cap, it's just homework, and there is no way I'm gonna enter that talent show!' sighed Virgo as she shuffled slightly away from Capricorn.
Capricorn just stared at her then laughed. 'You need to stop doubting yourself,' he laughed as he put his headphones back in.
Virgo just rolled her eyes and continued on with her homework.
Later that day, Virgo's class had gym, at the moment they were running laps on the field.
'I am so gonna enter that talent show!' squealed Gemini excitedly.
'When is it again?' asked Pisces, as she 'ran' very slowly.
'Duh! Tonight! Don't you ever listen?' asked Gemini as she raised an eyebrow- then sped ahead of Pisces.
Virgo was sitting out because she has a sore ankle- and she wondered about Capricorns words. She was very shy and afraid of large audiences and judgement. But for some reason some part of her wanted to join the talent show.
'Ugh! Fuck this!' screamed a voice, which startled Virgo and interrupted her from her thoughts. She looked up to see Scorpio- who looked very angry.
'What are you looking at?!' he snapped at Virgo aggressively.
'N-Nothing.' Virgo replied as she fiddled with the beaded bracelet on her wrist and stared at her other classmates running.
Scorpio then began to stare at her intensely, causing her to blush.
'You don't want me staring at you, so don't stare at me,' said Virgo, who actually felt kind of confident at the moment.
Scorpio narrowed his eyes then walked off towards the gym lockers.
Not long after that the final bell rang signalling the end of the day.
'Hey Virgo! Wait up!' cried Libra as she ran up to Virgo.
Despite running for an hour straight, Libra still managed to look flawless as usual.
'Libra? Is there something you want?' asked Virgo. She was surprised Libra wanted to talk to her, they hardly even speak to each other.
'Well I just wanted to know if you're gonna be in the talent show. Because I am running it with the teachers and I need to make a list of who is gonna be in,' replied Libra cheerfully. 'Also Capricorn told me you were interested!'
Virgo thought for a moment and considered this decision carefully.
'I'll do it,' said Virgo with a smile.
'Great! See you tonight!' replied Libra as she walked off towards her locker.
~Later that night~
Virgo had finally finished all her homework- and had 15 minutes to get ready for the talent show. She had decided that she was going to sing- but she was terribly nervous.
She glanced at herself in the mirror- she had her long brown hair in a messy bun and was wearing a daggy sweater and an old pair of jeans. There is no way she could go to the talent show like this- not to mention the horrifying old ugg boots she was wearing.
Virgo isn't very experienced with beauty and fashion since she had always been into her studies.
Virgo needed help.
Everyone was probably already at the talent show- so she had no idea who to call.
She opened her wardrobe and went through her clothing- desperately searching for something nice. All she could find was her plain, simple nerdy jumpers and t-shirts. She then headed up to her older sisters room and found a nice bright red frilly dress. She paired it with a pair of black stockings, high heeled boots and a white coat.
There was now only 10 minutes. Virgo straightened her hair and put on some red lipgloss and a thin layer of eyeliner. She then jumped into her car and headed towards the school for the talent show.
She was greeted by the glamorous and stunning Libra- who looked like a celebrity with her high ponytail and white elegant dress.
'Hey Virgo! Just take a seat anywhere!' she giggled.
Virgo found a seat next to Capricorn and smiled. She snuck up behind him poked him on the shoulder- making him jump.
'Hey Cap,' she said with a smile.
'Virgo!? You look really pretty!' he replied- slightly blushing.
'T-Thanks...' gushed Virgo as she sat next to her friend Cap.
The opening act was Sagittarius- who did this incredible rap solo and dance. Next was Leo- who sang a song while wearing no shirt. Most of the girls went crazy and Libra and Pisces almost fainted! Next was Gemini- who did this really awesome gymnastic routine and ended it with a great joke which made everyone laugh! A few other acts went by then finally it was Virgo's turn.
She nervously went up on the stage and grabbed the microphone. Her palms were sweaty and she felt sick. But then she caught a glimpse of Cap- who was giving her a supportive smile. As she began to sing- the whole place went silent. Virgo had everyones undivided attention- even Scorpios! At first she felt nervous- but now she is enjoying herself. She has never felt more free in her life! Once the song was done everyone applauded very loudly and went crazy.
Libra and Gemini ran up on stage fangirling.
'Holy shit! That was amazing!' cried Libra.
'I know right! Like I mean, Virgo you are so the next Beyonce!' added Gemini.
Virgo blushed then ran down to Capricorn and hugged him.
'I knew you could do it,' whispered Capricorn in her ear as he squeezed her tightly.
