The Owl Girl

3rd POV:

The Royal Guard had been walking among her older sibling's. Even though the girl didn't want to be anywhere remotely near them, it was an order by the emperor. And like always she had followed.

"So mittens I heard there was a new owl kid." Emira said nudging her sister. The smirk on her face could be heard.

The youngest Blight already hated the new owl kid since she was in charged of capturing them. And from the looks of it, it wouldn't be easy. The kid had resembled the owl lady so from the looks of it, it wouldn't be easy. Hell the emperors coven couldn't even track down the owl lady, how was she supposed to capture the kid?

Edric put his arm around the guards shoulders. "I wish you luck, we can even get Eda, how are you suppose to get her offspring?"

Swatting her brothers arm off her shoulders she started, "we don't even know if they're related, don't spread false information."

Emira shrugged, "I mean there both are owls, plus the kid is really powerful and they're good at not getting caught." She explained in a plain voice.

The guards shoulder stiffened, "the kid hasn't been seen near Eda, just because they wear an owl mask doesn't mean their related to Eda. For all we know they could have used the owl mask to their advantage."

Stopping in her footsteps the youngest blight was faced with her sister, "like how exactly?" She hummed.

Brushing by her sister she answered. "They could be using the mask to put more heat on Eda. Since they wear an owl mask people automatically think their related to Eda, therefore sending more forces to catch her in hopes of getting the owl kid as well."

A chuckle came out of the boy who was the right side of the guard. "And this is why your in this position, not us." He said patting her head.

"Yeah good job Mittens!" Her sister and joined her brother. "Framing the most wanted criminal. Who would have guessed?"

Hitting her siblings hands off her head she shouted, "keep touching me and I'll tell mother that y'all snuck out last night." After that sentence was hear the two had stopped immediately.

"Ok fine!" The twins said in sync while putting there hands up in a surrendering position.

As the trio walked through the market they passed multiple wanted posters. Most of them being the owl lady or the owl kid. The owl kid had recently popped up, at first it was theft, then violence, then arson and much more.

The young guard sighed and shook her head, she didn't want to stress about impressing the emperor with what some may call it, an "impossible mission'. She just needed to find them which shouldn't be hard considering the fact that they burn the covens ships. So she would just chill In one till they came. Easy peasy. 'I hope."
