Jon's POV

I pulled into Jenna's, Mackenzie's best friend who's been watching Mackena, house, and knocked on the door. Suddenly I heard tiny footsteps pitter-pattering down the stairs, then Jenna opened the door with Mackena in her arms.

"DADDY!" Mackena screamed as she leapt from Jenna and into my chest.

"Hey baby girl! Did you miss daddy and mommy?" I asked her in a squeaky voice.

"Yes daddy." Mackena replied.

"How much?" I asked teasingly.

Mackena stretched her arms as wide and her little hands could reach and cried "Thiiiiis much!"

"I love you girly." I said smiling.

"I love you too daddy." She said as she kissed my nose.

I walked Mackena to the car and buckled her into her car seat, then I walked back up the porch to Jenna.

"Thank you so much Jenna, you have no idea how much this means to me." I said as I hugged her.

"It was no problem. Mackena is great!" She said as she handed me Mackena's little suitcase with my picture on it that I bought for her at one of my concerts.

"Ok well I really gotta run, I have the little ones in the car. Again, thank you so much! I said once more.

As soon as we walked into the house and got everyone situated, the phone rang. I set Mackena down on the floor and sprinted to the phone.

"Hello?"

Mackenzie was crying really hard and struggling to talk.

"Mackenzie? Mackenzie what's happening?!"

"I- I- went- Ashley-" She stuttered before she broke down again.

"Where are you?"

"St. -Mer-ith's" She choked.

"I'm coming don't worry."

I hung up the phone and scrambled to put everyone back into the car. I was going 10 above the speed limit as I raced back to Jenna's.

I knocked on the door. Jenna opened the door and had a surprised look on her face.

"Jenna I'm so sorry but Mackenzie needs me at the hospital. Can you please take them?" I begged.

"Yeah-yeah of course." She said as she nudged Mackena's shoukder, telling her to go inside.

Mackena stumbled inside and immediately occupied herself with a toy that she had left there. I pushed a double- seat, two- row stroller towards her, it has all the babies in it. I tossed her the diaper bag and bolted to my car. My tires screeched as I sped away.

Mackenzie's POV

I sat in curled up ball in one of the extremely uncomfortable waiting room chairs. I slammed my face into my knees and cried even more. Suddenly Jon burst through the door. He ran over to me and crouched down next to me.

"Mackenzie I'm here, don't worry. What happened?" He said as he took me into his arms.

I was still crying uncontrollably, and choking on my tears. I couldn't even speak. All I could do was cry on Jon's shoulder.

"Mackenzie..." I heard a woman say.

I looked up to see a nurse half stretched out of the doorway. I stood up.

"Y-yes ma'am." I said wiping my tears away.

"I think I have some people you may like to see."

She opened the door and pushed Eden and Anna into the room.

I dropped to my knees as I cried even harder.

"Guys...it's me..." I choked out.

Eden and Anna exchanged confused looks and turned back to me.

"Who are you?" Eden asked.

"What...? I'm Mackenzie. Mackenzie, one of your best friends. I lived with you for years!"

Eden and Anna shook their heads.

"You two are going home with Mackenzie." The nurse instructed them.

"Uh, why?" Anna asked.

"Because she's thought you two were dead for the past four years! Jon, take them to the car now. Mackenzie can I have a word with you?" Said the nurse.

I nodded my head, still sobbing in the floor.

Jon walked Eden and Anna out while the nurse helped me up into a chair.

"How?" I asked confused.

"We don't know. We've never seen anything like this before. That day you were here, right after the accident, they were dead. I assure you they were gone. Then right after you left it's like they just...woke up. They can't remember anything before the crash, this could be temporary but we're not for sure. Just try your best to jog their memories. Maybe show them some old photos, clothes, tell them some stories, anything. Good luck."

The nurse walked away, leaving me awestruck and crying by myself. After a few minutes I managed to get up and walk to the car. I climbed in the front seat of Jon's Camaro while Anna and Eden sat in the back.

"Why is there a car seat back here?" Anna asked.

"That's for our daughter, Mackena." Jon explained.

"Mackena... We had a friend with a baby girl named Mackena. Now that I think about it her real name was Mackenzie. How coincidental is that?" Eden laughed.

I looked at Jon, he shook his head. I turned back in my seat and watched the road disappear behind us.

"Yeah I remember her," Anna said "she wasn't even awake when she had her! She was in a freaking coma."

My eyes grew wide. Jon looked over at me.

"Guys I think that was me." I said.

"Oh my gosh, how could it? We don't know you!" Eden insisted.

Jon took my hand while I slightly began to cry again. It was silent the rest of the ride home.
