Rise and Shine

Still Jon's POV

I woke up with Mackenzie sleeping on my chest. She was wearing my V-neck. I stroked her hair and thought about last night. I remember the way it felt to hold her body so close to mine. Seeing her wearing my shirt. Stroking her hair like this. It feels just as great. She opened her eyes slowly.

"Morning, Sunshine." I said to her.

"Haha. Good morning." She said.

She slid off of my chest and sat on my lap. I sat up and asked her if she slept well. "I had you by my side. What do you think?" She answered. She reached out and hugged me. I kept her in my arms for a long time. I still wasn't wearing a shirt, so I picked her up and set her on the couch beside of me and went to my room to grab one. I chose a random old Sayreville, New Jersey shirt and headed back down. I sat back on the couch next to her and she climbed back onto my lap and held my hand.

"Are you hungry?" I asked.

"Yeah, a little." She admitted.

Mackenzie's POV

"What would you like?" Jon asked.

"Depends, what do you have?" I asked.

"Let's go find out!" He said.

He picked me up and carried me to the kitchen, where he sat me down on the counter. He kissed me for a moment while he held me.

"Pick anything you'd like. Today you're my queen." He said.

"Thank you." I said.

I looked around and decided we would have chocolate chip pancakes.

"Pancakes it is, your majesty." He joked.

"Thank you kind, Sir." I teased back.

We worked together and made some great chocolate chip pancakes together. We cut each others pancakes into the shapes of hearts and fed each other, laughing like crazy.

"Mackenzie, I have so much fun when you're around. I love you." He said.

"I love you more!" I said.

"Not a chance!" He said as he stood up.

He came over and said "There is no possible way you love me more than I love you."

"Whatever helps you sleep at night." I said.

"You little...!" He said as began tickling me.

"Ahh! Hahahahaha Stop it!" I said.

"Fine you're free. But nobody can save you from this." He said as he lifted me up and started kissing me again.

I love it here. I love him...
