Negan watched him with a smile, the sleeping Omega rolling onto his side. Negan felt a warmth as he moved and couldn't help but smile as his puppy-bump became visible. Rick stepped into the room and felt the same warmth. "Negan."

Negan turned with a grin. "Hey Rick."

"Is he doing okay?" Rick asked as he looked over the sleeping male.

"He seems to be just fine, those doctors did wonders. I hate knowing he isn't feeling 100% with our little pups growing in there but I am glad to see he is finally sleeping."

Rick couldn't help but smile, their pups, that always helped him when things got rough. Carl walked in with a grin. "Dads, how is mom?"

"Mom is doing fine now, don't you worry about him or your little sisters."

"Still can't believe momma is having twins." Carl smiled big as he watched Daryl sleep deeply for the first time since he hit three months pregnant. There were always people trying to get interviews, always people wanting to talk to Rick or Negan. Carl got pulled out of public school and had to go online when the news broke about him being pregnant with twins.

Twin births for omegas were extremely rare, twin births from an omega male well that was unheard of. Negan ruffled Carl's hair, their son raced off to do some homework. Daryl turned again, small feet and hands pushed from the inside. "They knocked him out good." Rick smirked as he brushed his hair to the side. The omega continued to sleep, there was little to no movement from him when they did. Rick kissed his cheek, Negan his forehead as they stepped out of the room.

Rick and Negan sat together on the couch, Rick handed Negan a box.

"What is this?"

"A gift," Rick smiled. Negan opened it and his heart began to beat quicker, he picked up the picture frame.

"Rick..you didn't have to do that."

"I know but..I wanted to."

Negan held the photo frame in his hand trying not to cry. He ran his thumb along the outline of angel wings. The photo frame was a pale blue with clouds and a female angel figure holding a bundled puppy in her arms. Rick had gotten it handmade, the name etched into the bottom in spiraling gold letters was Lucille. When they had found they were having twin girls Rick and Daryl immediately told the alpha he got to pick one of the names. They had finally come to a conclusion on names at month five, Judith and Lucille, Carl had helped Rick decide the other pups name.

"Rick.." Negan wiped a tear away, there was an ultrasound photo inside it was of both pups now but when they are to be born Rick had plans to swap the photo out.

"I know you still miss her," Rick patted his alpha mates arm. Their omega mate was still sleeping soundly in their shared room. "I know she would be happy to know you named our daughter after her."

Negan held onto Rick, Rick had been the one to save his life, Daryl was in their hospital room as often as he could, he was pregnant with Carl at the time. They had been friends before the accident, the horrible car accident that took his first mates life. They had always loved Negan, and when he lost his wife they were there, and eventually they become a two alpha and one omega couple.

"Thank you Rick."

"I love you Negan, and I know how much you loved her. Daryl loves you so much, we all do."

Negan smiled kissing him softly, that was when they saw Daryl walking out he looked panicked. "What's wrong?" Negan asked standing quickly.

"They're ready.." Daryl whined, Rick and Negan looked down in surprise to see his pants wet from water breaking.

"Carl! Run across the street to your aunt Lori's! We gotta take momma in to have your sisters!"

Carl came running, he was bouncing eagerly. Daryl smiled ruffling his hair softly as Negan got him to the car fast, Rick grabbed their hospital bag and made sure Carl got to Lori's before they raced to the hospital.

Two hours of screaming and sobbing later, and a few swears to both his mates blaming them for his plight, two crying female alphas were born. Daryl breathed heavily in thanks that there were two cries, that they both had made it. Rick and Negan were each handed a pup while their mate was given some rest. One pup had brown eyes the other blue, the one in Rick's arms they named Judith and the other Lucille.

The two males held their pups close, they stood together before handing Daryl each a wiggling hungry pup. Daryl smiled kissing them each on the forehead as they ate. Another hour passed, Lori and Shane were there with Carl. The male alpha raced in a smile on his face, two tiny girls clung to his mother. "They're beautiful." Carl smiled, these were his sisters and he was going to protect them as well as he could. Daryl smiled as the young alpha male stepped forward, Rick and Negan helped him hold each one.

"Time for our little family to get some rest." Rick smiled to Negan, each girl was laid in a bassinet, Daryl promptly passed out as quickly as he possibly could. Lori and Shane congratulated them both and took Carl with them to their home. Negan and Rick sat together on the couch they had in the hospital room.

This was their family, and they promised to one another and their family to protect it.
