It's dark when I wake up and there's someone say next to me with the hand on my back shaking it. I think they're trying to wake me up but it's just lulling me back to sleep.

"Wake up Y/N," they whisper into my ear.

I shiver and I think they realise that I'm awake. I roll over so they don't keep talking to me. But instead they just shake me more and more until my head is shaking like crazy.

"Go away!" I say trying to push them away by waving my arms around.

"It's Finnick," he says.

"How the fuck is that going to make me talk to you! It's not even sunny outside!" I say pulling the covers over my head. It muffled out most of what he's droning on about but I pull it of when I hear him say something about District Four.

"What?" I say sitting up.

"I was telling you about how someone form District Four told us some valuable information!" He says slapping the back of my head.

"What did they say?" I say trying to bite his hand.

"Ew!" He says standing up and walking away, "I told you but you weren't listening clearly!"

"Just tell meeeeeeeee!" I say rolling my eyes.

"Not here, someone will hear it, let's go outside," Finnick says grabbing hand and pulling me up.

"But you just- Never mind," I stand up and follow him.

He leads me to the balcony of our apartment. I'm still only in a t-shirt and pants so I keep shivering. I rub my arms on my sides hoping that the friction will warm me up but nothing happens.

"Cold?" Finnick asks stepping closer to me.

"Clearly dumb ass!" I say pushing him away, "what is it?"

"Wha- oooh yeah yeah ok," he took a second to actually remember what he dragged me out into the freezing cold for! "I err I lied about that."

"Your done," I say turning to leave.

"I need to tell you something and I know you wouldn't listen," he says his voice wobbling.

"Bye."

I feel Finnick's hand grab me pulling me towards him. My back hits his chest and I can feel his breath hot on my neck. He wraps his arms round my waist, crossing them over mine.

"Hello," he whispers into my neck.

"Ewwwww!" I squeal and try to pull away.

He won't let go and he's much stronger then me so I'm not going anytime soon. I get spun around to face him and he lets go surprisingly. He loses his head down to mine, his eyes empty of all emotion.

His head leans down closer to me until there's barely a centimetre between our lips. His skin is so clear and soft. His eyes an emerald green colour. He goes in to kiss me but this sudden movement wakes me from my trance.

"The fuck!" I yell pushing him away, "what was that all about? We aren't even friends!"

"I just needed to give you a reason to stay," Finnick mumbles dropping his head to the ground.

"You think a kiss from you is going to make me want to stay?" I ask putting my hands on my hips, "No Finnick the thought of going home and being alive is what's making me want to stay."

"Oh," he says, "I just thought that-"

"That because your so amazing that I would fall in love with you? Get a grip! I'm going back to bed," I walk to the doors and back to my bedroom leaving Finnick gormless.
