It had been exactly four and a half hours that Changsub was patching up Katia and examining her wounds. He came out and greeted the others, including his own group and the other mafias, and allowed them to see her. They were expecting her to still be unconscious but were pleasantly surprised to find her wide awake and sitting up in bed. Chan rushed to her side almost in tears due to his relief that she was alive and well. Changsub had informed them that all she needed was a little rest for her body and for her to take it easy for the next two weeks, as she wasn't shot, but was heavily bruised and had many cuts. They spent the next few hours discussing what their next moves should be. They decided that they would hold a secure virtual meeting with the other allies to come up with a plan as iKon had found out who Cube's allies were.

Everyone but Chris left Katia's room so she could rest for the night. The couple were tightly holding each other's hands not saying a word. Chris was still in shock about what had happened today and Katia was worried he was mad at her for not fighting hard enough to avoid hurting herself. She only looked up when she heard a soft sniffle. She was shocked to see her husband in tears.

"Chris? Why are you crying, love?" She softly asked while wiping away his tears.

"I could've lost you. I just got you back and I could have lost you," He let out a sob and kissed the back of her hand, holding it close to his chest. Katia didn't know what to say. She simply let the words slip out of her mouth before she could even register what they were.

"I'm sorry," Her words shocked them both. Chris was shocked at how his wife could ever think that this was something she should be sorry for. And she was shocked that she said the words her ex drilled fear into her because of. She pulled her hands out of his grasp and covered her mouth while slightly scooting away from him.

"I didn't mean to I'm sorry! Shoot! Sorry! No! I didn't mean to say that!" She kept rambling about how she didn't mean to and for him not to do anything to her. then it hit him that this was a form of PTSD that she had towards her ex. It's why she never talked about her and why she was always scared to make some kind of mistake towards him. He slowly and carefully wrapped his arms around her and assured her that she did nothing wrong. He calmed her down from her panic attack and asked her why she thought it was such a bad thing to apologize.

"When I was with my ex, she would get mad at me for very small matters that most of the time I had no control over. I knew it wasn't my fault but I wanted her to stop being mad at me so I would apologize. When she realized that I didn't mean it she would punish me for saying something without sincerity," Chan clenched his fists at the thought of someone scaring her simply because she wanted them to be happy and let things go. "She would either slap or punch me in the face or body and sometimes she would use objects like vases, bats, plates and whips. She would chain me to the bed and do things to me when she was really mad." Chan felt his jaw slack open and tears brimmed his eyes as he said in a small voice.

"She abused you and raped you?" Katia only nodded and continued.

"Baebae was the one who figured it out first. She told the others but they couldn't help. So they went to people who could. Our senior specialist groups from the company. Bae-Z and FieldZ. Both groups were out of the country but Piper, the second oldest in Fieldz and J.Win the oldest and Leader of Bae-Z said they were going to send someone to save and protect me from her. So they sent their boyfriends. Piper sent BTOB's Minhyuck and J unnie sent Monsta X's Shownu. They confronted and fought her and just as they were going to kill her and her gang she got away. I've been searching for her ever science so i could pay her back for all the horrible things she did to me." Katia had a steady stream of tears running down her face as she stared into the corner of the room after she finished telling her husband her disgusting past. Chan rose from his seat and paced the room a bit, he turned back to the girl on the bed and looked her dead in the eye.

"When we find this bitch I'm going to make damn sure her death is as slow and painful as humanly possible." He watched as Katia's eyes softened with relief and she let out a sob and chuckle at the same time. "that was the plan, my love," She smiled through her tears. He joined her on the bed and pulled her in for a much-needed kiss. They pulled away to look into each other's tearful eyes and laughed lightly. After wiping their tears they kissed once more and didn't stop for a few minutes. They moved so that Chan was on top of her and began to kiss very passionately. Chan pulled away when he felt himself almost lose control.

"What's wrong?" Katia panted.

"You're injured and have to rest" Katia huffed in annoyance. "Don't worry, Babygirl, I'll make sure to show you how you should really be treated, unlike how your ex did, once you're better," Katia smiled in satisfaction and kissed her husband one more time.

~Minewhile~

Minnie was asleep in another room in the hospital wing with RJ seated right beside her. Minho had gone to go get something to drink and Han went with him. RJ sat quietly, gently rubbed circles on Minjin's hand. She glanced at the clock that told her it was 2:23 am, and sighed. She put her head down onto the bed beside her lover's hand and closed her eyes. She felt someone softly running their hand through her hair and assumed it was Minho or Han who came back into the room. She lifted her head up to look at them and was more than happy to see Minnie's sleepy eyes looking back at her.

"You're awake," She softly said while smiling.

"My face hurts" Minnie whispered while taking RJ's hand in hers.

"Well you did just get shot in the face darling," RJ chuckled. They softly chatted for a while as Minnie was still exhausted until the door opened to reveal Minnie's brother and his boyfriend.

"Min," Minho smiled as he approached his sister's side. He gently hugged her the best he could with Jisung following after. The four stayed up for the next hour updating Minnie on what was happening and how Katia was until the girl could no longer keep her eyes open. The three sat smiling at the fact that she was awake and okay now as well.
