id stayed here into the early hours of the morning. i couldn't see and everything around me was a blur. i'd over-drank. i felt disconnected from the banging vibrations of the music around me and within the crowds i felt alone. i decided to leave. it was for the best.
it had cooled down a bit since earlier. the humidity was gone. i stumbled down the town streets trying to navigate my regular route. clinging to the wall to try stop my self from collapsing in.
i stopped walking. it was the early hours of tuesday morning so the streets were eerily quiet. i sat down, sliding down the wall. my hands in my head i sat. fuck tonight was bad. i lifted my head from my hands and a flashy car had appeared in-front of me.
"you alright kid?" the man spoke kindly. i looked up at him and half smiled. "get in, i'll drop you to where you need to be, i promise i'm not a serial killer" the man joked. i got up slowly, fearing that if i moved any faster i'd fall. i staggered over to his car and got in the passenger seat. my head was spinning, the world was spinning. he asked where i lived. "eight..eighteen.." was all i could make out before it went dark and my head smashed against the dashboard. shit.
