Vacation

School & Summer 2

'Let's start by going through our plans again. Don't bring too much stuff! Otherwise you will have to pay extra for the weight... Also bring some money, we don't want to be unable to fly back lol.'
'Haha lol', Killian said.
'So yeah, we meet up here at 5am on the 17th of July. Then we go to the airport, by train and by bus, we check-in and depart to... AUSTRALIA!'
'Yaaaay!!!' was heard throughout the room.
'After a 16 hour flight we arrive in Melbourne, we pick up our bags and sleep in a cheap hotel for the night.'

Quickly after I said: 'Oh and our first objective is Alice Springs!'
Killian snapped out of his daydream and said: 'Wowowow. 'Objective'? Is this a game?'
I answered: 'Yes, you could see it like that. But I will explain everything once we arrive in Melbourne.'
'Cool!'

Jennifer didn't seem comfortable with it and said carefully: 'I don't like splitting up though...'
Everyone was talking to eachother so nobody heard what she said.

'I declare this meeting over! Joshua out!' I said happily.
It was 10:30pm in the meantime, and my friends left to go home and sleep. I cleaned the room and went to sleep myself too.

A week passed. School was boring but nobody cared. We got to sit outside while being teached and it was almost summer vacation after all.

It was thursday 16th of July, the day before our departure. It was the last day of school and everyone was hyped for our trip.
At lunchbreak we all sat together.

Andrew spoke: 'Oh man, I'm so scared and excited at the same time, it's such a weird feeling!'
Killian was confused and said: 'Why are you scared? There's nothing to be scared about lol.'
Andrew answered: 'Ummmm, it's just... I have never flown before...'
'Rekt.'

We ate our food and we still had 10 minutes till lunchbreak ended.
'I have an idea' said Jennifer, 'what if we don't send anything on our whatsapp group after 9pm? Then I can sleep in time, because if I see that red light blinking, I can't stop myself from looking at the message...'
Everyone agreed: 'Good idea!'
The bell rang and we had to go back to class.

The day went by and at 8:30pm Jennifer messaged me: 'hey uhhh, i have a question about that melbourne trip thingy'
I responded: 'Go ahead'
'ye well do we have to split up?'
'That was my idea yes, but in groups of 3-4'
'ahh okay, just wanted to know'
'You're welcome :)'
'thx im going to sleep now byee'
I finished up some things and went to sleep as well.
