Prologue - “I was overflowing with countless emotions”
Their stares went on for ten minutes. Though, in their perspective it felt like hours.
Their eyes pooling with unreadable emotion. No, it wasn't unreadable, it was just a bunch of plain emotions jumbled together, messily. A jumble of emotions that has one answer. Like a puzzle, someone must connect all the pieces to see the picture.
Guilt, regrets, familiarity and yearning - the emotions their eyes currently pool.
The gaze they used to hold when they looked at one another were different from before, yet they still share the same feelings. Words jumbled up in their mouth, yet they're remained shut. Both wanting the same thing, yet still walking away continuing their individual lives.
