Blood Stained (Itachi x oc)

Koneko's POV

He stepped foot in the room and his footsteps echoed in my head and my heartbeat clouded my brain. I felt as if the room went dark and the spot light was on him.

I watched carefully as my chakra radiated around me, making my knees weak and my stomach flutter around. I took in every single one of his features, it was as if time stood still as I watched him.

I heard Orochimaru's voice, "Itachi Uchiha." He said under his breath in a surprised tone. I studied the new member and noticed his long black hair tied at the back and his pale skin under his uniform.

I looked at his face and studied him, I couldn't take my eyes off of his red eyes as they scanned the room in caution.

His eyes wandered the room and his chakra enveloped him in sort of a form of a barrier. I focused on him and noticed his steady chakra nature.

His eyes finally landed on me and I felt my breath hitch. I got stuck in time, unable to breath or think. His scarlet red eyes watched me as they noticed my chakra flowing around me, he raised an eyebrow.

I felt it again, as if the room stood in place as we watched each other, wondering if he felt what I was feeling.

A voice interrupted my thoughts, "We will convene in the conference room. Meet there in 10 minutes, Kisame and Koneko, come with me." Our leader spoke in a commanding tone.

His eyes stayed fixated on me as Kisame muttered something about me getting the both of us in trouble because I couldn't keep my mouth shut. He dragged me along with him. I was snapped out of my daze and followed Kisame along as he scolded me and my brain tried to make sense of what I was feeling.

"Are you even listening to me, kid?!" Kisame's voice ripped me away from my thoughts and I turned to look at him in shock.

"No. Sorry, what?" I responded honestly. He sighed and shook his head. We met up with the leader and as soon as we walked in I was met with his purple ringed eyes, they stamped themselves in my brain and I felt my whole body pulse as I dropped to the floor in pain.

He cast his genjutsu on me as he peered through my soul and threatened to rip it out of me if I dared to disobey him again. I'm familiar with the boss and his tantrums but this time felt personal.

"Kisame, leave us at once." Pain commanded, Kisame exited the room and left me all alone. The room began to feel entirely too small. Pain approached me slowly, staring into my eyes.

"I see through you, Koneko. You've been very useful to this cause, but don't think even for a second that I would hesitate to kill you on the spot." He said in a serious tone, I stared up at him.

"I-I'm sorry. I didn't mean to engage with him, he attacked us first." I tried to defend myself causing him to pull out a black rod from the sleeve of his cloak and shove it through my shoulder.

I screamed out in pain as the rod shut off my chakra flow and blood streamed down my arm. He stood above me, holding the rod.

"Stay away from Itachi Uchiha. You were bred to be an emotionless killer, as far as you need to know, that's all you are. Don't be fooled by your own feelings, love only brings forth pain. Don't set yourself on a path of destruction because I promise I will be there to tear you apart." He said as he ripped the black rod out of my shoulder causing me to scream out in pain once more as the searing pain shot through my entire body.

He left the room and I sat for a couple of minutes in my own agony. I heard the door open and footsteps walking towards me, I couldn't tell who since my chakra flow had been cut off.
