It was a quiet night, for now. The loud silence accompanied with their light footsteps and the muffled chirping sounds of the crickets echoed the whole cemetery. It wasn't until then, Stiles could hear the thudding murmurs getting louder and clearer each time they approached the center point.
Little by little, he could spot a figure of a person. As soon as he got a clear sight of the person, Stiles instantly recognized, he felt a pinch or two in his heart. His brain urged him to speak without hesitation, "Freya!"
However, the witch appeared to be overly indulged in her own world, her hands waving in the air and her mouth wouldn't stop chanting words.
"Freya!" Estella called out as she rushed to her, but her hand was held back by Kai.
"Slow down." Kai observed the compound and when realization hits him, his brows frowned in worrisome and he finally voiced, "Look around her, there's a barrier."
Indeed there was. No wonder she couldn't hear them, Stiles thought.
Estella glanced at Kai in distraught, her eyes then darted to Freya and back to Kai, "Can you break it?" She asked anxiously.
Kai examined the around the barrier, only to be fascinated and dumbfounded by it. "She used her own blood to make the barrier."
"Use mine." Stiles exclaimed, stretching out his hand to Kai as soon as he noticed the blood barrier.
He knew that a blood barrier could be broken by the blood of it's closest.
"No, mine." Estella urged as she stretched out hers, but Kai hesitated. He contemplated between the both of them.
Before he could decide, Estella hurriedly bit into her palm and perfectly crimson red blood started flowing out, dripping on the ground. Kai started chanting incantations as her blood dripped bit by bit, merging with Freya's blood. As the chanting went on, it was beginning to show slight effects on the barrier, which caused the witch in the barrier to finally noticed.
"You can't be here!" Freya shouted anxiously as he saw Stiles, her dearest brother.
Stiles said while he approached her slowly as the barrier broke part by part, "Why, Freya?"
He waited too long to ask the question that had been circling in his head for quite some time. Desperately, he needed to know, to what extent, this family would crushed his faith.
"Stiles, just get out of here!" She said with firm persistence, yet sounded slightly brittle and forceful.
"I'm afraid that's a little too late now,"
By hearing the voice, Stiles already had a hint of it. A heavy feeling struck in his stomach, he felt his chest tightened.
A figure, frightfully familiar came walking out of the shadow in no hurry, slowly revealing itself. "Brother." He said menacingly, putting up a cunning and crooked smile.
Like a devil in disguise.
"Klaus." Stiles breathed his name shakily as his brows furrowed upon Klaus's appearance.

"Nik?" Estella called out, her voice was brittle and weak. She shook her head in disbelieved, questioning over and over, "Why?"
"Oh, I thought you'd be so smart to figure out things, Stella. Seems not." Klaus said scornfully. He walked his way leisurely to Freya and continued to speak, "The moment I saw hope in my own daughter, a possible chance in becoming a Tribrid. There laid bare, a chance for me to be stronger, powerful and dominant to all the supernatural beings."
