chapter 3: making things right.

Anna had woken up the next day in her bedroom with Elsa standing next to her. Sadly there was something different. Her hands felt cold and heavy as If she was shackled.

Sure enough she looked around and saw chain's and cuffs made of Elsa's ice connected to each corner of her room. Her feet felt cold as well and then she realized what was going on.

Anna then said.

"So this is your alternative to helping me!!??. Binding my hands and feet with ice to prevent me from using my magic powers!!??.

I was right. Your doing to me the same thing mother and father did to us.
Your only thing about your own safety and the kingdom. If this is your way of helping me.

If this is your solution to taming my powers... then I'll figure something out on my own. I always have.
Get out...now."

And Elsa said.

"Anna please. What will it take for you to understand I'm trying get this back to the way they were when we were little!!!. What happened to the happy little sister I used to know???.

The one who always loved to build a snowman. The little girl who always saw the good in others and never gave up???."

And Anna said.

"That naive little girl grew up.
She grew up in the shadow of her elder sister who was always favored for the throne by father. Now leave me alone.

If I'm to be a prisoner in my own room I might as well enjoy the quiet while it lasts. I am certain you have some of your Royal duties to attend."

And Elsa said.

"Please Anna don't push me away!!!.
Remember when I did that to you.
I was consumed by fear. I didn't want to hurt you with my powers!!!.

Mother and father only did what they thought was in our best interests and theirs at the time.

They were afraid of what would happen if anyone found out about our magic.

What they did they did to PROTECT us. To PROTECT our family and the kingdom of arendelle.

What would you have done if you had children with kristoff or hans and they had magical powers they couldn't control???.

Put yourself in mother and father's position and tell me what you would have done differently!!!.

Would you have kept them hidden away and looked for every possible solution or would you have left them to be judged by the people out of fear!!??.

Being the queen isn't easy Anna!!!. One of these days you will learn how much responsibility it is."

Elsa then left the room a frustrated and tired mess as she went back to her room and picked up a family photo of when the were still a real family.

Before all the magic powers.
Before their parents deaths. Before being made queen. Life was simpler.
Life was easier. They had each other.
Elsa wished more then anything for those days to come back again.

But she knew that Anna's resentment ran very deep. She might have been back to normal.

But their lives weren't. Perhaps they really were opposite of each other. Maybe they never would reconnect with each other not without hurting each other anyway.

Elsa had to find a way to get into her sisters good graces again. She wanted to see her sister smile like before.

Elsa then said to herself.

"At least there's no way she's getting out of those shackles. I've reinforced those chains and cuffs with my ice.

Sealed up the windows and fire places. And removed the wood from the living area.
