I watched in awe as Jack bounded back to me, phone in hand and a much happier look upon his face. He gently glided my cell phone back into my grasp then sat in his previous spot. "My bandmates said they would be here in a few hours, the roads should be cleared by the time they get here," Jack announced. I nodded slowly before taking a drink of the beer I had ordered.

"So we have some time to kill, tell me a bit about yourself," I averted my attention back to Jack as his voice broke the awkward silence that had washed over the room. "Well what do you want to know?" I queried, my bright red hair brushing past my shoulders as I ran my fingers through it. "Everything," Jack said simply. I raised an eyebrow at him, smirking slightly, "That's a little personal, don't you think?" He lowered his head to hide the blush that scattered his cheeks, "Okay, maybe not everything. How about we start with the basics?" He suggested. "That's better," I laughed, "okay, you start."

"What's your favorite color?"

"Easy, blue. You?"

"Same. Favorite band?"

"Blink-182, or Fall Out Boy. Don't make me choose." Jack laughed at my response before nodding, "Blink's my favorite hands down. Fob is definitely in my top five, however. Favorite movie?"

"The Nightmare Before Christmas remember?"

"Oh of course, I forgot you said you were a fan. Home Alone is by far the best movie I've ever seen."

"Dude Kevin Mcallister is my hero, he's so bad ass."

"That's what I say!" Jack practically squealed as he bounced in his seat. I laughed at his enthusiasm before asking him my own questions. "So where are you from?" "I'm from Baltimore," he proudly stated,"how about you?" "I'm from b-more as well," I replied, "so Jack, tell me more about this band of yours." Jack grinned, "I don't even know where to begin. Well the band consists of my best friends Alex, Rian, and Zack. Alex is lead singer but also plays guitar. He's a total asshole," I raised my eyebrows in surprise, Jack seemed to realize my shocked expression because he quickly shook his head and laughed. "I didn't mean that really, Alex is like a brother to me. They all are. We all joke about each other all the time. So no, he's not really an asshole. Not all the time at least. Like I was saying, Rian is the drummer and Zack plays bass. I'm the guitarist."

"Are you guys any good?" I asked, tugging my jacket over my shoulders as the room was swept with a sudden chill. "The best," Jack replied as he nodded. I let out a short laugh, "Cocky much?" Jack shrugged smiling smugly, "Everyone agrees with it though." He finished his sentence then watched with a puzzled look as I tugged my phone from my pocket once again, "Let me be the judge of that."

I quickly typed in the name of the band he had previously told me he was in. I selected the most recent video and waited for it to play. Jack reached out to grab my phone as soon as the first notes began to play. "Oh you don't want to watch that one," he said frantically as he attempted to unclench my fingers. I laughed from pure confusion and the odd way Jack was acting, "I wouldn't? And why not?" I pushed him away from me playfully as he gave up. He let out an exaggerated sigh before slouching in his seat, "It's not the best song we've written. It's a joke really. And plus it, uh, it's kind of an embarrassing video," Jack admitted sheepishly.

I watched and listened as I was finally able to watch the music video. After a few moments of me snickering and Jack giving out an occasional groan of shame, I understood why he didn't want me to watch it. "I think some dude just grabbed my junk? Really?" I asked between fits of giggles. "It gets worse," his words became muffled as he hid his face in his hands. I was just about to ask what he meant when my eyes returned to the screen and there was four grown men dressed as, what I was assuming was, Lady Gaga. I almost fell off my seat as the lead singer, Alex was shown laid naked on a cloud of cotton candy. Even when the video was over, it took me a couple minutes to calm down. I let a few laughs escape my mouth before asking condescendingly, "Best band ever, huh?"

"Okay, not out best work. We recently got signed to a new record label and it caused this album to be...well, not us. Look up 'Therapy' and you'll see what I mean."

I did as he asked, playing it the whole way through without saying a word. My eyes became glassy and I glanced at Jack apologetically. "Sorry," I said in a hushed tone. "It's fine. But see this is what the band really is. Even though 'I Feel Like Dancin' is mocking the radio, this is what All Time Low is all about."
