Mathew was trembling as the now confirmed Crystal (she had written her name on the whiteboard) read the worksheet. "Hmm... 30 questions left. Wow, Mrs. Carmon, you sure teach slow!" Mrs. Carmon frowned.
Crystal started copying the textbook's questions and solved them swiftly in abonimable, nearly unreadable handwriting for Mathew's tired eyes (in reality it's my handwriting that's abominable and unreadable. Her's is fine.). The class watched eagerly and confused.
A minute later, all 30 fraction questions were answered. There were 29 minutes left until morning recess at 10 am. Mathew had to admit that Crystal was quite fast and clever. She bragged, "Done! There's still 29 minutes of class left!" The #1 classmate, Arilyn, asked, "Uh... Aren't you supposed to explain to us?" "Just copy!" Crystal snapped. "I'm a lazy person! Jeez! Can't I have my lazy life?" Crystal went on. "Plus, you're not supposed to complain!" she sneered. "I'm helping you get better grades! You should thank me!" Another guy started: But-
Crystal interrupted, "Shut up and get going if you want to play after copying these stuff."
Mathew fumed. That was not appropriate behaviour! Crystal should set a better role model! What was this bratty demon child?
However, the other kids were pumped up about this. "Yay!" They shouted. Mathew gaped in shock. How could they? This spoiled Crystal was having bad influence on his classmates! Who were her parents? They should send her to Juvenile Hall or something!
Mrs. Carmon pouted. "Uh... You're sus." as she walked out of the classroom. Mathew nearly started laughing, but paused when Crystal shouted, "Hooray! Let's start this party!" (Mathew missed the part when Crystal asked when people were done. That's why in her book it was "31" and not "32". [That I made up. But it's a clever reason, no?]). Mathew covered his ears as every single one of his friends applauded for the terrible new enemy, Crystal.
