Mathew felt kind of guilty about yelling at Kathleen. However, she had been quite rude.
Mathew heaved a sigh of relief as Crystal cried out, "People, it's time for lunch!"(they had skipped recess for the party.) Mathew went into the buyer's line and hurried toward the cafeteria.
The lunch line was talkative. Blah, blah, blah, party this, party that, not only from Mathew's class, but from every 5th grade class there. Mathew was very annoyed about everything, so he carried off his lunch to the table.
. . .
Mathew watched as Crystal flipped their through science textbooks. "Okay... Let's see... Hey we're on luck today!" She excitedly announced, "The teacher left you notes to copy, and at the bottom said, 'After done, do party!'"
Mathew highly doubted this was the case, and peaked at Crystal's desk. Sure enough, there was no "do party" note at the bottom. The classroom was bombarded by "yay"s. Mathew tensed. These kids were absolutely TERRIBLE! Crystal screamed over the noise, "Now, let's get going so we can party!"
Mathew copied very swiftly. Within a couple minutes, everything was written in neat, thin notes. However, the other's weren't so lucky. After another 13 minutes of reading since he was finished, Crystal wailed, "Aaaa! 30 minutes of class left and we're only halfway though! I wanna party!"
Mathew cringed. Such insolence! But the class rapidly agreed with her, shrieking their complaints. Crystal called, "Hmm... I have an idea! Everyone types quickly in here, right?"
Everyone but Mathew replied, "Yeah!" Meanwhile, Mathew alone muttered, "No." Oh, how he hated Crystal! She was showing such impudence! Very disrespectful. "Okay, go to a google doc, choose the closest font and size to your handwriting, and start typing! Remember to use gray for the color of the writing, so it looks like pencil written!"
Mathew hated Crystal a lot, but he could only hope she would go away...
