Chapter 7 : Week One (Saturday)

Well, today was the day I was going home to Chicago so I could visit Punk and Courtney. It would only be for the weekend, but I feel like it would last forever. Brianna, being the best friend in the world, decided to come with me even though I did not personally asked her to do so. I tried telling her to come home to her family for Thanksgiving today, but she insisted in coming. Plus, she wasn't in the mood for having Thanksgiving dinner while being glared with daggers by Nicole. I packed all of my things inside my suitcases, and got ready for our flight.

"Brie, are you really sure you'd rather come with me to Chicago than go home for Thanksgiving?" I asked nervously, "I mean, you could go home to visit your mom and JJ. I can handle my family drama alone, you don't need to come with me."

Brianna smiled delightfully, "No, for the millionth time AJ. I want to come with you, I don't want Nicole-related drama back home. Plus, going to Chicago would take my mind off of these crazy stuff."

"But what about Dean? Won't he be worried for you?" I asked.

"He'll absolutely understand. After all, I am his girlfriend and between our relationship, I'm in charge." Brie smiled.

I hugged her tightly as tears escaped my eyes, "You really are the best friend anyone could ask for."

She laughed, "Well, I try."

I dabbed my eyes with my handkerchief and sniffled. She smiled and hugged me again, I cried onto her chest softly. We pulled away, and prepared for our upcoming flight. I took a quick warm shower and got dressed into a black WWE shirt, a pair of cut-out jeans and my gray Chuck Taylor's. I tied the laces on my shoes, and began to do my make-up. I straightened my hair afterwards and unplugged my phone from its charger, I kept the charger onto my bag and began texting Punk.

A: On my way to the airport. I'll be there by this afternoon.
P: Good. Because we need to talk, April. Have a safe flight, babe. xoxo

My heart fluttered as knots formed inside my stomach. The only time he calls me April is when he is serious, pissed of disappointed. Whatever the reason he called me by my real name, it has to be something serious. I shook the thoughts away for a while and awaited for Brie to finish taking her shower. As I awaited, my phone began buzzing again. I looked at my phone and expected Punk to have sent me a text message, but my emotion turned to curiousness when Roman's name popped.

R: Hey baby girl. :)
A: Hey..?
R: Looks like you're not excited to talk to me. :(
A: No, it's not that. It's just been so awkward that we talked like this when we haven't talked in days.
R: I get it. Well, I was just texting you because I want to tell you something.
A: What is it?
R: I'm in love with you.
A: What? Roman, you and I are both married to different people. We can't be, I'm sorry.
R: I know, I'm sorry.. I didn't know what came over me. I just wish you and I were married together. ;)
A: Roman, I love Punk.
R: But does Punk love you back? Do you think?
A: What do you mean? What are you talking about?
R: Look, I'm in Chicago for a few days and I coincidentally saw Punk. Let's just say it wasn't pretty.
A: You're starting to make me worry, Ro.
R: AJ, he's cheating on you with Amy.
A: What? That's impossible. Punk can't be..
R: I'm sorry AJ, but it's true.
R: Baby girl? You still there?
R: I'm sorry, baby girl.

Tears began streaming down my face as my emotions were running high. Punk can't possibly cheat on me, he and I made a commitment to love each other for eternity. I guess he got tired of me and moved on to Amy, but is Roman telling the truth? Since Brie is taking ages in the bathroom, I have the time to confront Punk himself. I went through my contacts and dialed Punk's number, let's see if Punk really is cheating on me. I pressed my phone on my ear as the line began ringing.
