Viktor's P.O.V.

White. At first my vision is clouded with a flash of white till my surroundings become properly visible. It seems to be daytime as the sun's rays shine into me. Then looking to the side is where I see Jayce looking down with clasped hands. "Ja-" Not even able to fully finish his first name and he gasps while getting up and wide eyed. "You're awake! I was starting to think you fell into a coma." He rubs the back of his head.

Taking a breath, I then ask him "What about the explosion... How many?" He of course knows exactly what I'm referring to and answers. "Not everyone was so lucky. The councilors were, but a few people in the building were crushed." My eyelids lower at both feeling a bit dazed from the sudden awakening along with the sadness of lost lives.

"How did all the other councilors survive?" "You're probably not going to believe this. But Mel summoned a giant shield... I don't know how else to explain it. But I guess you were just out of range." The very blunt answer has me surprised, but how else could it have happened? "How do you feel? You're not hurt, are you?" He questions while getting close and bending down to my level. "No, I'm fine- wait. How long was I unconscious for?" This is a question I wish to know as he mentioned he would've thought I would be in a coma.

"Two days." My eyes slightly widen at the news, but I suppose it'd make sense I'd be out for a while. "And the collateral damage?" "It's being repaired now. Not exactly livable, but should be fully repaired in a month or two." At least that's something. Not that I care for the councilors all too much.
