Jason's P.O.V.
I tugged on my hair then slammed my hands hard unto the cold marble of the sink. I messed up once again. Just fuck! I can't let her go. I can't leave her alone. I went over to the fridge and took a pitcher of water. The night isn't as cold as it usually is. I poured some unto my glass then let the cool water rush through my throat. It was still hot so I pulled my white shirt off.
You love her. I don't know since when but—- I just do. What? Fuck shit! No, I don't. Since when?
Fuck my brain. It's just starting to mess me up even more. I decided to take a walk outside. The second I open the sliding doors, the cool night air just passed through me. I wandered my eyes around the back and there was Mary sitting at the edge of the pool, dipping her legs in it. Her face illuminated by the moon beautifully. I walked towards her and crouched to her level.
"Hey" I whispered causing her to jump. Her legs spazzed making the water splash a little. I chuckled.
"Fuck! You fucking you scared me, Jace." she place her hand on her chest.
"Okay... hey. I'm sorry." I apologized, bringing out my hand for her, "Okay? I'm sorry for acting like a heartless jerk. I'm sorry for bringing you here in the first place. I'm sorry."
Her small brown eyes stared to mine and were glistening, really reflecting the stars in the sky. A tear slips out from her right eye and I swipe it away with my thumb. She smiles softly and says, "You say that, but can you show that?"
Silence soon, envelopes us and I was left for my own thoughts. I will show you. I will change. No matter how hard it will be. "I will."
She stands up from her position and makes her way into the house, "I hope so. Good night!"
I will show her. I will show her that I'm gonna change.
