Trapped

Aika was afraid of just this. That everybody would treat her differently once they knew about her past. She didn't want her past to take over, that's why she didn't say anything, but this was to stop Obahoru.

"Guys look at this!" Kenji finall broke the longing silence that roamed the room. "We got a message from the port mafia."

Everybody went around the small boy to see what he was talking about. On his screen was an email from Mori, the port mafia's head. The message was titled : for Aika and Dazai.

"The big guy really sent a message through the common line of emails of the agency?" Atsushi remarked.

"We dont have individual email adresses Atsushi, you send something from the agency's software it stays in the software; you get an email in the software, its stays in the common line." Kunikida explained.

"Ill let you guys deal with this, I'm going to see if my village needs help..." Kenji got up from his seat and left the office.

Dazai took his seat and opened the email.

"Dear Armed detective agency, hope all is well. I'm not going to be too long with this so I'm just going to get to the point. I would like if once again, our organizations to collaborate." Dazai started reading. "Obahoru is a powerful man and a special someone of us wants to take him down. If you would be so kind as to meet us at dusk today to discuss further. -Mori." Dazai finished reading the message.

Atsushi felt apprehensive about this. "Do you think it's a bluff? A way to take out the agency?" He questions.

"No, he's being serious. Mori doesn't know how to send emails, so he probably had Hirotsu do it. Unless he was serious he wouldn't put in that much effort." Aika clarified.

Dazai shifted his gaze to Aika. He raised an eyebrow. Should we do this? He asked indirectly.

I don't know. President will be here, ask him. Aika shrugged her shoulders and nodded her head towards the door.

In the next second, president appeared at the door. "Jeez, I'm psychic-" Aika chuckled at her own joke. "Dazai, did you read the letter?" President asked in all seriousness.

Dazai nodded. "Yes, i find it very interesting that the port mafia would want to team up. Then again... special someone wants to get involved-" he turned to face Aika.

She sighed and rolled her eyes knowing what he was insinuating. She then turned over to president. "So? You think we should team up?"

Fukuzawa didn't say anything for a moment, just turned picked up a file and started looking through it. "Is this the place?"

Aika nodded. "We were able to hack security cameras and find out that it is indeed their headquarters without having to actually go there."

President nodded and turned around to leave. "Meet up with the port mafia at dusk, hear them out."

Alley behind the agency
(Dusk)

Aika and Dazai made their way to the alley Mori (Hirotsu) told them to be at, where they would meet up. When they got there, Mori and Akutagawa were waiting. "Oh hey doggie!" Aika yelled to Akutagawa, waving obnoxiously to piss off him off.

"My name is Akutagawa!" The man stomped like a toddler.

Aika giggled and looked over to Mori. "Hello Mori." Her and Dazai greeted in unison. Mori scoffed playfully. "So what's your proposal?" Dazai cut to the chase.

"Obahoru is a powerful man, one of my executives has a... quite personal grudge against him." Mori looked over at Aika. "And I believe you have one too, Aika."

"Speaking of my brother, where is he?" Aika took off her hat.

"He's in Sendai on some random search mission, he didnt give the details and even if he did, why would you want to know?" Akutagawa got defensive.

Aika shrugged. Mori continued. "I would like to have a temporary alliance like we once did to fight the guild." Aika looked over at Dazai with a raised eyebrow not knowing they worked with the port mafia. Dazai shook his head, he would explain later. "This is not my personal wish but your brother insisted he be apart of this mission. And this was the only way he, and I saw fit."

"So, complete and utter cooperation?" Dazai clarified.

"Precisely." Mori nodded.

Aika and Dazai shared a look before agreeing. "Okay, we'll do it. We'll send you our plan via Hirotsu." Dazai said.

"My offer still stands, for your information." Mori added. "To join the port mafia. Dazai I know you've refused profusely over the year but Aika. My offer is open. You were of the best."

Aika stopped turned around and smiled. "No thanks."

Mori chuckled. "Your voice is so annoying now that you use it." Akutagawa finally said. Aika walked over to him, pat his head and ran back next to Dazai. They continued walking and Aika just barked once just to spite the man child.

"I'm going to kill her." Akutagawa activated his ability but Mori just put a hand in front of him to stop him. "Lets not."
