....
Alleyway, port mafia
January 7th

Days went by, and the Nakahara siblings worked and worked and worked for the port mafia. Chuuya, this week, was sent to Tokyo for business with some associate.

Aika was working along side Dazai at the moment. Mori told him to teach Aika about what it means to be apart of the port mafia.

Aika didn't speak, like at all. She would only talk in a very low voice when absolutely needed. Dazai didn't mind though.

He actually grew quite fond of working with Aika, she was a quick thinker and could keep up with him. One night he was about to drop her off at the port mafia and go to the bar to meet Odasaku, but he decided otherwise.

"Aika?" Dazai asked, the girl up from playing with her gun. "Do you want to go to a bar?"

She was confused. She opened her mouth to say something but hesitated. "What's a bar?" She whispered.

Dazai chuckled. "Come with me." He said walking towards the Lupin bar. Aika followed him, putting away her gun. When they got to the establishment, it was empty except for the bartender. Per usual.

Dazai sat at a stool and motioned for Aika to do the same. She sat next to him and looked around curiously. "The usual for me and a..." Dazai paused and looked over at the girl who was admiring the wine bottles. "water for her."

The bartender made Dazai's drink and gave Aika a water. She lowered her head as a thank you and drank the water.

Her head turned and her body tensed when footsteps were heard. "Odasaku, what's up?" Dazai asked as a tall man sat down next to him. Aika peered over to Oda cautiously. "He's a colleague." Dazai whispered, making Aika relax her shoulder, but she still stayed on guard.

"So youre not going to believe what happened today-" Dazai started a conversation with Odasaku. Aika was still admiring the building she was in. She suddenly looked down when she felt something press on her leg.

It was a cat. A ginger haired cat. It made it's way into her lap and settled itself. She started to pet it. She was surprised when she heard it start to purr.

Her attention reverted to the stairs as she heard footsteps. A man showed up, she sprung from her seat, kicked the back of his knee and pinned him face to the floor. "What? Who are you? What are you doing?"

Odasaku was shocked and Dazai was smiling. "Aika, let go of Ango will y'a." The girl looked up at Dazai, back at Ango, then at Dazai. She let go of the man and sat back at her seat.

"What the hell kid?" Ango said enraged.

"Leave her alone, she's jumpy." Dazai defended.

Ango took a seat next to the men and ordered a drink. "So who's the girl?" He asked looking at Aika who was now sitting on the steps petting the cat again. "That's Aika Nakahara, she's my partner and apprentice, if you will." Dazai said pointing towards the girl.

"Nakahara? Isn't that the ginger haired boys name?" Ango asked confused.

"Yeah she's his sister." Dazai clarified. "Hey Aika!" He called for the girl. She stood up and went over to Dazai. "Find me a way to kill myself, make it painless!" Aika giggled and shook her head.

She sat down in the open seat between Oda and Dazai and saw that Oda was staring at her. She tilted her head. "Do you have an ability Aika?" He asked gently. She nodded. "Can you show me?"

She looked around her and saw the mans ring. "Can I?" She whispered pointing to the ring. Oda looked at the metal object, nodded, and took it off. He gave it to the girl and she examined it. "Its silver." He added curious as to what she was doing. Even Ango was watching attentively.

She smiled when she figured it out. The ring was made of 92.4 percent silver and 7,6 percent copper, Oda probably didnt know there was copper in it. She tossed it in the air and use her gravity ability to make it stay. Float. She condensed the air making the metal crinkle. Pulling at the silver and copper, making it warm, Aika elongated the metal and made a blade.

Ango's eyes went wide and Oda just stared. "Impressive." He said. "You got yourself a good partner, Dazai."

Dazai hummed and Aika shaped the ring back to its original form. She handed it to the man but he shook his head. "Keep it. You could use that if youre working here." He gave it to her. Aika bowed her head.

"A toast!" Dazai said raising his glass.

"A toast to what?" Ango questioned.

Dazai took a moment and thought about it. "Anything you like, who says we need a reason?" The man replies, his glass in the air.

Aika copied the gesture curiously, seeing as Odasaku was raising his glass too.

The red haired man sighed. "To the stray dogs." He said, suggestively tipping his glass towards the others.

Aika looked to Dazai who had a satisfied smile.

Ango also rose his glass.

"To the stray dogs." The three men spoke simultaneously, clinking their glasses together.

Aika frowned, she was going to say it, but wasn't sure if she should. Odasaku turned his head to her, tipping his glass towards hers.

She did the same, clinking their glasses together, a smile being brought to the young girls face. "To the stray dogs." She whispered.

A small chuckle escaped Dazai's throat, a genuine one which caught Ango's attention. Just who was this girl? He thought, not angrily, but curiously. She was impossible to read.

Everyone turned to Dazai who spoke. "Hey Ango, do you have a camera in your bag by any chance?"

"Yeah i use it for work." Ango answered, his usual monotone voice showing a slight annoyance. But he was used to Dazai by now so it was no different then usual.

"Lets take a photo!" Dazai suggested. "To remember."

"What do you mean?"

"Yeah remember what?" Odasaku added.

"That all three of us, I mean four were here together." Dazai said, answering vaguely.

Odasaku was confused. "The three of us come to drink here all the time, except for Aika."

Aika's head shot up from her glass at the sound of her name. Oda gave her a slight smile.

Ango eventually gave in. "Whatever you want mister executive." He said taking out the camera.

They each took turns having their picture taken; Ango of course, looking annoyed in his. He then went to set up the camera for a groupe picture.

"So why do you suddenly want a picture?" Oda asked. A question Aika and Ango also wanted an answer to.

"Call it a silly hunch if you'd like." Dazai started. "I just have this feeling that if we dont do it now we might not have another chance to prove we were all together like this."

Aika frowned, not understanding her mentors logic. Dazai motioned for the girl to move closer. Ango finished setting up the camera and sat down next to Oda, Oda sitting next to Dazai, and Dazai sitting next to Aika.

"Aika, Odasaku, say cheese." The suicidal man said before a click was heard, the camera taking the picture of the four of them.

Little did everyone know, Dazai's hunch was correct. That would be the last time those four would be together like that. Because soon after that-
