Luckily for Quinn, her soon to be home wasn't far, only a brisk 10-15 minute walk from the hospital. But before she can get there though she had to make a few stops.
Her path is lit up by the dim street lights and the sliver beams generated from the moon. The ravenette sees a rundown gas station come into view and quickly breaks into a jog— wanting to get somewhere with heat as soon as possible. The luminescent neon lights of the cheap gas station blind her eyes making her put a hand up to block its rays. The motion sensor door opens and she walks in. Only four teenagers populated the pit stop, all laughing and joking around in the snack aisle.
There were two girls and two guys. The two girls were touching one of the other boys in some way. The blond snuggled up with the taller boy with a goofy smile plastered on his face. The brunette was holding hands with the shorter male wearing a cold expression.
I probably could snag one of their wallets, the taller boy seems like the best bet.
Quinn unsuspectingly made her way down the snack aisle pretending to be so concentrated on what to buy she 'accidentally' bumped into one of the teens. This caused him to stumble making his wallet fall out of his shallow pocket. She drops the candy she was holding right next to it.
"Oh I'm so sorry, I mustn't have seen you." She apologizes sweetly, pretending to be embarrassed. She kneels swiftly grabbing the wallet and candy off the floor. "It's fine I don't mind at all— Woah what happened to you?" The boy looks Quinn up and down looking at the blood all over her clothes.
"Oh I had gotten into an accident, I just left the hospital." She explains poorly leaving the whole group with shocked expressions and intrusive questions. "Holy shit are you okay!? Where are your parents!?" The strawberry blond shouted pushing the male out of the way her sucker almost falling out of her mouth. "I'm fine, but my parents not so much." Quinn smiles awkwardly making the girl in front of her slack-jawed.
"I'm sorry for your loss, but at least you're okay—" The brunette chimed in but was cut off by the male attached to her arm. "Where were you heading, you're obviously not from around here." The intimidating boy asked looking down at her with cold brown eyes and a seemingly uncaring expression. "I was actually in the process of moving to Woodboro from overseas, a bit of a journey if you could imagine." She jokes, the male nods in understanding.
"Wait for real!? We live in Woodsboro!" The taller male from earlier exclaims moving his girlfriend aside. "Ah I see, well, perhaps we'll meet again then, but I have to get going." She gives a small wave walking away rather suddenly. The last thing she needs was people recognizing her, especially considering what she was wearing. She paid for her items with the stolen money and continued her walk.
_______________________________"You think we'll see that girl again, she might go to our school?" Sidney asked looking at the group for their opinions. "Man, I sure hope so, she was smoking! Especially with all that blood—" "Stupidity leak!" Tatum yelled hitting Stu with her sucker. "What do you think, Billy?" Sidney asked turning to her longtime boyfriend ignoring the fighting couple in front of her.
"If she actually lives in Woodsboro probably, that's the only high school in this godforsaken town." Billy answered with a flat tone. "Oh by the way Stu you're paying." Tatum said after she had finished hitting Stu. "What, why me!?" He yells dramatically. "Cause you got the most money." Tatum stated blandly continuing to suck on her lollipop.
"Fiiine..." Stu draws out dramatically putting his hand in his pocket to not find anything. He looked through his other pockets but still found nothing. "What the hell?" Stu said in confusion frantically looking for his wallet. "What is it, Stu?" Sidney asked.
"I can't find my fucking wallet." Stu shouted, looking around him, his friends turned their heads scanning the surrounding area. "She took it." Billy deadpanned. "Huh, you mean that smoking hot French chick?" Stu shouted earning a full on back head smack this time."Hopefully I can see her again and get it back, just to get it back of course." Stu says obviously being sarcastic which pisses off Tatum. She scoffs and turns around stomping outside and leaving the store. "What's her deal?" Stu asks cluelessly pointing his thumb to the door behind him. "I don't know Stu, maybe she's annoyed that you're calling some random girl you just met hot in front of her." Sidney scoffs following Tatum outside.
"I was just being honest!" Stu announced to Sidney catching the attention of the tired cashier and the one other person in the store. Stu turns around and sighs looking at Billy for his opinion. "What about you man, didn't you think she's hot?" Stu practically pleaded. "Obviously dipshit, but I'm not stupid enough to say it in front of my girlfriend." Billy said with mild frustration smacking his arm. "When are we gonna get rid of them, man. Tatum's been getting on my nerves recently and it's getting hard to restrain myself." Stu fidgets with his fingers anxiously cracking them.
"Soon don't worry I have it all figured out, just hold out for a little while longer and we'll finally kill those yappy bitches." Billy says with a reassuring hand on Stu's shoulder along with a contradictory dark smile.
"Can't wait!"
