Part 10: Break?

Y/n: "Wait? WHAT?!"

I was standing in front of Caitlyn with Vi beside her as we were in her office in the station. From my reaction, Caitlyn said that I should have a break for the meantime. I think I am not needed here for now.

Caitlyn: "Sorry Y/n but the guests are coming here to check on the Demon activities in Piltover and this guy hates demons."

Y/n: "But I learned how to hide my presence."

Caitlyn: "We also told Camille about that she is just making sure."

Y/n: "Okay then, I guess I'll see you guys when I get back."

Vi: "Sorry about this Y/n."

Y/n: "No, it's okay. I understand anyways."

I started to walk away as I glanced back at them and waved goodbye for now. Vi waved back but Cait just looked away from me.

Y/n: "Did I do something wrong?"

I got out of the office and saw Jinx sitting in the corner. She quickly stood up and ran towards me.

Jinx: "So?"

Y/n: "I won't be back until I am called again so I guess this is goodbye for now."

Jinx: "That's bull crap!"

Y/n: "Well can't do anything about. It's the orders from the sheriff."

Jinx: "Aw man, now things won't be fun without you."

Y/n: "We'll see each other when you have the time."

Jinx: "Did you notice that Cait's been acting weird lately."

Y/n: "Come to think of it, yeah. She's been avoiding me too."

Jinx: "Well let's think about it another time. See you dude."

Y/n: "You too Jinx."

We fist bump each other as she watched me got on Cavalier and drove back to my apartment.

Y/n: "Now what should I do now?"

Once I reached the apartment, I saw an expensive SUV parked outside of the place. I already who the car belong to but still decided to go up to my room and hear noises inside.

Ahri: "Am I doing the right thing Kai?"

Kai'sa: "Yes and keep on stirring it so that the spices mixed well."

I opened the door to see Kai'sa and Ahri cooking something, Akali and Sera playing games in the living room and Eve nowhere to be seen.

Ahri: "Oh Babe, back so early?"

Y/n: "Yeah, what are you guys doing?"

Kai'sa: "Ahri wanted to make you something special so I helped her."

Y/n: "Thanks guys."

I gave Ahri a kiss as she pulled me in closer. As we separated, she gave me a seductive look that gave me red flags. After that, I gave Kai'sa a hug and went towards the living room and flopped on the couch.

Seraphine: "Is everything alright Y/n?"

Y/n: "I think?"

Akali: "What's going on dude?"

Y/n: "The PPD gave me a break saying I shouldn't work for awhile because of a guest they are having."

Akali: "That's bull crap."
