Part 11: New Power

3rd Person POV

Y/n, Dante and Trish arrived at the docks 30 minutes early before the trading starts. They were on top of the rooftops as Y/n was checking on his guns as well as Dante. Trish had a large sword  on her back which was the Sparda and she was just sitting gazing at the night sky.

Dante: "This will be our first team-up together. The last team-up I have was with our brother Vergil and he is not a team player."

Y/n: "What was he like?"

Dante: "He's Power this and Power that. He's obsessed with power that's why he's a whacko."

Y/n: "I can already picture him now."

Dante: "Just picture me with my hair slick back and has a serious face. That's what he looks like."

Y/n then felt a shock on his right arm as he clutched it catching Dante and Trish's attention.

Dante: "Are you okay kid?"

Y/n: "Y-Yeah. Just a little shock."

Trish: "Let me check."

Trish touched his right arm and as her mother instincts kicked in. Y/n didn't bother though since she looks like her mother and he just let her do it.

Trish: "It's overwhelming with Demonic energy. Does it still hurt?"

Y/n: "Not anymore."

???: "Well this is surprising."

They turned towards the voice and saw Katarina jumped down and walked towards them.

Katarina: "Surprised to see you again pretty boy and you brought company."

Dante: "You know this chick kid?"

Y/n: "Yeah. She helped me and Caitlyn with a past trading with the same guy we are dealing with tonight."

Katarina: "Surprised to see the famous devil hunter tonight."

Dante: "Just helping a friend out and we are getting paid for this."

Y/n: "Really?"

Dante: "We are not here tonight if Sarah isn't going to pay. I only accept jobs when they pay up."

Trish: "It's because he has a lot of debts."

Y/n: "I can help you guys with that. I have a lot saved up."

Dante: "Don't worry about it kid. It's your money. We can deal with a debt like this one on our own."

Y/n: "If you say so."

Trish: "If you ever help us sweetie then give the money to me not him. He'll just spend it on pizza and his strawberry sundae."

Dante: "Ouch.."

Katarina: "Heads up guys, they are here."

Cars arrived as the Gangplank came out of the shadows. The men got two crates out from the back of the van and dropped it in front of the pirate.

Katarina: "Well see you guys down there."

She blinked towards a dark alley nearby as Dante turned towards Y/n and Trish and gave a two fingers salute before jumping down.

Y/n: "Does he always do that?"

Trish: "Always."

She also jumped from the top building and landed quietly on the ground. Y/n clutched his right arm again as the pain started to slowly disappear.
