Part 9: Unexpected Meeting

Y/n POV

It's been a few days since what happened with the armor figures and that white haired man known as Dante who save me and Jinx from them. I'm in the K/DA mansion right now with Evelynn helping me try to hide my demonic energy. After mastering how to hide my demonic energy, I'll try go and find him.

Evelynn: "Come on darling, one more time."

Y/n: "Okay, here goes nothing."

I close my eyes and tried to suppress my aura. I imagine as a raging fire until it was burned out into nothing. I opened my eyes and saw Evelynn narrowed her eyes at me.

Y/n: "Did it work?"

Evelynn: "I think it did. Good job."

Y/n: *sigh* "Finally. Now I don't have to worry walking around without being chased by those things."

Evelynn: "Demon activities are very active here and Zaun."

Y/n: "Hey Eve, since Demons are very active now. Is there a chance you're going to see your family again? I heard from Ahri that you left the Demon realm to start a new life."

Evelynn: "I don't know. I don't really wanna talk about them."

Y/n: "It's fine. Sorry if I remind you of it."

Evelynn: "It's no problem. That past is in the past."

Ahri: "Are you guys done?"

Y/n: "Yeah. I got the hang of it."

Ahri: "Good, lunch is ready. Kai'sa and Sera made them."

Evelynn: "I'd be surprised if I hear that you made them Gumiho."

Ahri: "Hey! Speak for yourself. For the record, I'm trying to learn how to cook from both Kai and Sera."

Y/n: "Really? I always love cooking for you when you visit the apartment."

Ahri: "I know but I want to cook something for you."

I approached her and gave her a loving hug which she hugged back.

Y/n: "Thank you babe."

I gave her a peck on the lips and went downstairs straight to the kitchen.

Ahri POV

I stared at Y/n going downstairs as I waited for him to disappear from site. I then turned to Eve who raised an eyebrow at me.

Ahri: "You know, you could have talked to me about it."

Evelynn: "About what?"

Ahri: "Cut the bullshit Eve, I know you like him. You all do."

Evelynn: "Alright you got me. He's different you know. Not because he's a half-demon but he's like the first guy who doesn't see me as some kind of queen. He just seea me as Evelynn, a woman who just wants a normal life away from her family. It's not easy to not fall from a guy like him. You're so lucky."

Ahri: "I know. That's why I'm doing my best as his girlfriend. He's my first and I'm his. Don't worry, I'll talk to him about this and if he agrees, I'll give you the green light."

Evelynn: "Thanks Gumiho."

I then hugged her tight as she hugged back with little tears in her eyes. It's rare to see Eve like this. You would always see her as serious, scary and seductive kind of woman.
