"Okay first of all, hook ups don't just mean sex, if you snog somebody I'll have to allow it." Cal started to say and Harry laughed.
"Do we get extra points if we shag them?" Harry asked and earned a shove from Cal.
"We're not running a whore-house here Harry!" Cal said dismissing him.
I felt much better knowing that just a kiss with somebody would count and I waited eagerly for the rest of the rules.
"You can only earn one point per person, so no repeated points can be earned."
Harry raised his eyebrows and looked at me but I rolled my eyes and gave him the finger.
He seemed so sure that I was going to end up falling for somebody during this and I was now becoming more and more determined to prove him wrong.
"You must have either a witness or definitive proof of each hook up for the point to count."
Harry suddenly raised his arm up to ask a question.
"Surely they have to be at least an eight out of ten? There has to be some rule about attractiveness." He asked and Cal pondered it.
I rolled my eyes once more. Of course this guy still rated women out of ten.
"You make a fair point Harold." Cal started and paused once he saw my mouth hanging open in shock.
"Look we can't make it too easy for you guys. Harry has thousands of fans who would line up for a snog if he asked, heck even a few straight guys would probably join in." He added and Harry nodded.
"The person has to be at least close to your own level of attractiveness." Cal finished.
"But how do we know how attractive we are?" I asked and Harry laughed in a cruel way.
"What?" I asked him sharply.
"Harry, cool it. Jess at the very least you're a 9, Harry is about the same." Cal intervened and it was my turn to raise my eyebrows.
"Cal I appreciate it but I don't like ranking people on a scale of 1-10 just for how they look." I said and crossed my arms.
Harry was laughing at me once more.
"Seriously what?" I asked and he licked his lips before responding.
"This is the easy part Jess and you're already struggling. I'm tempted to throw another five grand into the mix." He said with a smirk.
"Okay, no that's the other thing. No money. I don't need your money and I'd feel bad taking it. If I win, I get a plug on both of your YouTube channels." I said, feeling much better about this proposal.
"A plug for what?" Harry asked and Cal filled him in.
"She's a fashion designer."
Harry nodded in approval and thought for a moment before speaking again.
"Alright I'll agree to that, but when I win..."
"If you win." I cut Harry off and gave him a stern look.
"When I win, you have to design me an entire new wardrobe of clothes, free of charge." He added with another smirk.
I was so annoyed at his arrogance that I couldn't stop myself.
"Deal." I said and the smirk turned into a smile, a look I hadn't seen on Harry before. I would have said it suited him if I wasn't so angry at him.
"Deadline is a month from now. We start in the morning." Cal said and me and Harry eyed eachother up.
"This is going to be fun." Harry said with a wink and with that he got up and retreated to his bedroom.
"Are you sure you're okay with this Jess?" Cal asked me once Harry was out of earshot.
"Surprisingly yes, I think I am." I said calmly.
I needed an excuse to come out of my shell and meet new people after my breakup with Tom. Plus I was ready to wipe the smug grin off of Harry's face.
"Hot girl summer?" Cal joked and I laughed along with him.
"Yeah something like that."
