The first thing I did that night was download tinder. Cal helped me create a profile and seemed genuinely gob-smacked that I'd never been on tinder before.

"Jess you've got to include at least one thirst trap on your profile." Cal tried to convince me as we finished up.

"But I don't really take thirst traps and I certainly wouldn't post them on tinder if I did." I said in defense as we scrolled through my photos.

"That one then! That's hot." Cal said making the photo fullscreen.

" Cal said making the photo fullscreen

"I don't know about that one." I said quickly minimizing the photo.

"Why on earth not?" Cal asked as he reached over and tapped on it again.

"I sent it to Tom." I admitted in a small voice.

"Even more bloody reason to use it!" Cal insisted and selected it as the last tinder photo people would see.

"But I don't look like that all the time!" I argued back but Cal just shrugged.

"Nobody looks their best all of the time, but tinder is for exaggerating. Anyway it's your last photo, only guys who are already interested will look at it." He explained as he finished setting up my profile.

"The world is your oyster now Jess, or at least London is unless you buy tinder premium." He joked and we both looked at my phone as the first guy popped up.

"It's all you from here." Cal said as he left me alone and walked into the kitchen.

I swiped right on a few guys but mostly it was left swipes and I was just thinking how exhausting tinder was when I noticed Harry standing behind the couch and looking over my shoulder.

"Please, don't let me stop you." He said with a smirk before sitting down next to me. I was startled by the close contact when I felt his shoulder rest against mine.

He leaned over to look at my phone and was close enough to me that I could smell the cologne on his neck. I suddenly felt my heartbeat picking up as I breathed the sweet scent in.

"Let's see the profile then." He said expectantly.

I brought up my photos and suddenly felt extremely self conscious as he took my phone and swiped through them.

"Cute." He said absentmindedly as he glanced at the first few photos.

"Except for this one." He said, pausing on the last photo. I felt the heat reach my cheeks instantly and wished the couch would swallow me whole.

Cal walked over and laughed when he saw the photo on the screen.

"See Jess I told you, that's going to be the photo to reel them in. Look at what it's done to Harry." Cal laughed as he sat down on the other side of me.

Harry thrust the phone back into my hand in a huff and mumbled something about it being the only semi-decent photo on the profile before retreating back to his room.

"He's lying by the way. His cheeks were bright red! I think he's noticed he actually has a competition on his hands." Cal said proudly as he offered me a hot chocolate.

"You think so?" I asked, starting to doubt myself more and more.

"Jess you need to win this just to knock his ego down a few pegs, and I wouldn't have suggested it if I didn't think you could win!"

I took a sip of my drink and pondered the situation I was now in.

He was right, Harry's ego was sadly the most prominent thing about his personality and I would love to be the person to deal a blow to it.

I returned to my phone and set up a date with one of my matches before putting my phone down and talking with Cal for the rest of the night.

Harry did not come back out of his room.
