Chapter 25:

TW: mention of rape in this chapter

I woke up this morning with tear stained cheeks and a huge headache.

I walked into the bathroom and started the shower and climbed into it hoping to come out and this all be a dream.

But it wasn't all that actually happened last night and my life's a mess.

I will tell Ethan but not yet, not when I don't have anything figured out. Before I tell him I'll do every possible to get out of this.

But first I need to find out who fucking told her about us. The only people that know are Emma, Logan, Alissa, Albert and Eleanor.

So it has to have been one of them, or I guess it could be Bo but he doesn't actually know if we're together or not.

I decided I would call Alissa because I'm pretty sure if someone told my mom it wouldn't have been any of Ethans family.

She picked up on the second ring "Hello, Rose" she sounded cheery.

"Liss did you tell mom" I whispered I don't wanna cry again.

Her tone changed into a cold one and that's when I knew it was her "I'm so sorry It was an accident, she overheard me talking to Logan"

"Oh" I answered in a shaky voice I could feel the tears threatening to come through.

"Rose what did she say to you" she gritted her teeth. She may not always show it but Alissa is a very protective sister.

That's when the tears started "she told me I had two weeks to end it and then I'd have to marry Bo, Liss I don't wanna leave him I love him so much" I was shaking and my words were coming out all stuttered.

"I'm coming over right now, wait for me" I couldn't help but be a bit relieved that she cared so much for me, but I wasn't gonna get mad at her.

It wasn't her intention to tell mom and I know she wouldn't do it on purpose because when mom used to yell at us she would always defend me and never take her side.

Thirty minutes later I hear a knock on my door and I know it's Alissa.

I open the door and she immediately wraps her arms around me and again stupid me starts crying into her shoulder.

"Oh Rose I'm so sorry I didn't know it would turn out like this" she lets go and wipes the tears from my eyes "I won't tell anyone ok only the two of us will know until we figure something out ok?"

I wiped the rest of my tears away because crying wasn't gonna get me anywhere so I decided to make the most of my day.

"I'll make us some coffee and then we'll talk okay" she nodded and I went into my kitchen it was almost empty because I haven't been here but luckily I still had stuff to make coffee.

I finished and brought it out to the coffee table and sat down in my couch next to Alissa and gave her a small smile.

"So tell me what happened" I took a deep breath and honestly I didn't know wether I wanted to tell anyone so I didn't tell her it all.

I basically told her that mom and I had a fight because she found out me and Ethan were dating and she wants us to break up and me to marry  Bo but of course it's a lot more complicated than that.

I don't tell her about the things I said to her or about me having a huge mental breakdown last night and the things I said to her about dad but it's personal.

"Oh my god I'm sorry but you know mom has a bad temper she'll come round eventually" I wasn't sure about that but I nodded.

"Anyway let's talk about you and the baby are you excited" her face lit up immediately.
