A/N: Hi guys! I'm really sorry I didn't uploaded in a while. My personal life and work have been hectic lately and therefore I didn't had the time to write. But I hope that calms down know and I can upload more regularly from now on. Hope you enjoy this chapter!

While we're on our way to the babysitter we continue our conversation. We talk about what we're up to right now like Scarlett has a big project she's filming but couldn't tell me anything about it. I tell her about the event Jonas and I have been planning for a while now and she seems to be truly interested in it. After 20 minutes of walking we stop in front of a house.

S-"I'll just grab Rose real quick. I'll be right back."
"Don't stress about it. I'll be waiting right here"
She smiles thankfully and goes inside to find her daughter. I use the time to quickly check my phone. The first thing I see are numerous texts from Jonas asking how it's going. I decide it's easier to just give him a quick call.

J-"Hey! How is it going? What are you doing? Tell me pleeeeeas!"
I chuckle, "It's going great. She's an amazing person and so down to earth. It's really nice. We talked about Fred and how I know him. We also talked about life and what we're up to and stuff like that. Right know I'm waiting for her to come back from picking up her daughter."
J-"That sounds really nice Y/N! I'm glad it's good so far. But you're telling me you're meeting her daughter just after this short time you two know each other? I mean don't get me wrong, but she really must trust you when you get to know her."
"Yeah apparently. I know what you mean and honestly it surprised me when she said yes after I asked her if she wants me to come with her but hey I'm not complaining. And I love kids so that won't be a problem." 
J-"That I know." He says laughing
Sighing I say "I really miss my little siblings"
J-"You should visit them. They probably miss you too."
"You know why I'm not visiting them and.. I don't know. I just wish things were different."
J-"I know. But please don't let this change your good mood. You're having a great day with you're longtime crush!"
"You're right. Thank you man. I really love you!"
J-"What else for do you have me?! Love you too! Know go and enjoy the rest of the time!"
"Will do. Bye!"
J-"Bye! And tell me the rest later"
"Of course."

Shaking my head I end the call. Right after putting my phone back into my pocket I see Scarlett coming back out with her daughter who's holding her hand. I just capture this moment with my eyes and hope that there are more to come. She looks so happy with her daughter and her daughter looks just like her. They're adorable.

S-"Hey. Sorry it took so long but Rose wanted to finish her puzzle and needed to pack her stuff."
"It's alright. I just went off the phone so perfect timing."
She smiles at me and in the corner of my eye I can see that Rose gives me a confused look. Probably because she doesn't know who I am. She turns her face to her mum and tucks at her shirt. Scarlett breaks eye contact and bends down to her daughter.

R-"Who's this mummy?" She whispers but not quietly enough so that I heard it.
S-"That is a friend of mummy's. Why don't you ask her yourself for her name."
Rose turns back to me and debates whether she should ask or not so I decide to do the first step.
"Hi, I'm Y/N! You must be Rose right?"
She just nods, still a little bit shy so I continue
"You must be like 6 or something like that right?"
R-"No silly. I'm 4!"
"What?" I pretend to be really shocked and surprised which earns a giggle from the little girl "I could've sworn you're 6. You're so big!" That earns another giggle from her.
"When is your birthday?"
Rose looks up to Scarlett to see if it's okay to answer. Scarlett just smiles and nods
R-"In 3 months!" She exclaims excited.
"oh wow that's not far isn't it?"
Rose nods happily.

R-"Mummy can we go to the park? Pleeeeas?"
I melt right there when I see her puppy dog eyes.
S-"Sure if it's alright with Y/N"
Before Rose could even ask me, I scoop her up my shoulders and start waking.
"To the park we go!"
I hear Rose giggle loudly on my shoulders and that just makes me really happy. 
R-"Mummy come oooon!"
Turning around I realize that Scarlett is still standing in her spot not moving but smiling at us. "Äh everything alright? I can put Rose down if that's not okay with you. I should've ask. Omg I'm sorry Scarlett. It was just-" Scarlett starts walking towards us
S-"No no it's okay as long as Rose is okay with it"
R-"Definitely!" Rose buts in and tells us to continue the way to the park.
S-"Just wasn't expecting it but it has been a while since she laughed that much. And you just made her laugh within the 10 minutes you know her. You weren't wrong when you said you're good with kids."  Scarlett whispers to me so hopefully her daughter doesn't her it.

"I'm sorry to hear that."
Scarlett sights "Yeah I just can't do anything these days to really make her laugh apparently."
"Maybe I can help with that if you want to of course." I suggest. Not only will I be able to spend more time with her and her daughter of that matter but because I genuinely want to help.
S-"If you're sure about it I happily accept the offer."
"I'm sure. Hey Rose?"
R-"Hm?"
"What would you like to do at the park?" She thinks shortly before answering
R-"Oh I want to slide and and I want to build a sandcastle. And I want to play tag but I probably can't do that as always because nobody wants to play it with me." I can practically hear the frown in her voice and it breaks my heart.
"I'll play with you if you want"
R-"Really?"
"Yes of course!"
R-"That would be cool!" she happily bounces up and down on my shoulders
S (whispering)-"Thank you!"
"Of course."

I give her a warm smile which she returns. The rest of the way flys by really quickly. Rose tells us what she did at the babysitters and I am really surprised when she told me that she already can read and write a little. After a short while we arrive at pure destination. I put Rose down and as soon as her feet hit the ground, she runs off to the slides. Scarlett and I sit down on a bench. Me to take a short break before the tag game and Scarlett to enjoy the sun and watch her daughter play.

S-"How comes that your so good with kids?"
And that's a question which brings up a lot of more personal questions
