DHARA POV

Everything happened so quickly I can't even believe it. I still feel as if sallan sahab is running behind me to kill me with the iron rod. I am so afraid of his face. After writing talaq i couldn't help remembering my parents and god swear i felt as if my mother smiled at me!

After taking my stuff and handing it to dhanush bhai sahab, i wondered what will happen with me now. Where will I stay and till when will I stay? I was in deep thought when the palanquin stopped and I peeped from the golden curtain to see the sight of the place but to my surprise it was a cave top structure in the dense jungles of samrajya.

I could hear voices talking and deciding my fate. It was parineta bhabhi and huzoor.

"Maharaj—-Dhara humare yahan rukk sakti hai—aaj chahen toh—--inki (dhanush) koi bhen nahi hai—ye kami humesha thi inhe—-aaj toh inhone khud dhara ko apni bhen ke taur se nawaza hai—--ab humare ghar ki hui vo" she said.

"NAHI—BIBI MAHAL HI RAHENGI—---aapne jo aaj kiya bhabhi sahiba voh kabil-e-tareef hai. Dhanyawaad"

"Sharminda na karen maharaj—-hum aur dhanush sahib humesha aapki wafa me hai—-hum toh kya humari aulaad aur unki aulaad bhi. Dhanyawaad toh hume aapka dena chahiye jo aapne aurat zaat ke liye itna ehem kaam kiya hai—--hume itni badi zimmedari saunpi hai"

I heard parineeta bhabhi and respect for her and huzoor spreaded in folds in my heart. Did huzoor send bhabhi in the morning? Ya shiva!! Dil kitni zorr se dhadak raha hai—-

Suddenly I heard dhanush bhaiya sahab's voice.

"Maalik—sabhi intezaam kar diye gaye hain—--ek aurat ko bibi ke kapde pehna ke maine apne ghar bhej diya hai—---aawam ko lagraha hai bibi mere ghar hain---ab aap iss surang ke dwara nikal jayen"
